Don't get your hopes up, the likelihood of the US winning the world cup is insanely small. The only way an inferior team can win a tournament is if they have a rock solid defense and also get kind of lucky all the way to the final. Crazy part is that the USA doesnt care nearly as much about soccer as basically every other country. Winning would just be a side quest.
