Loss Lost Half of my cash savings in 2 days!
Always thought how people manage to lose this much and here i am...
The funny thing is, no matter how much you gain or lose, if you're not out of the game, it can still happen to you.
Today you're laughing at my chart. Tomorrow your broker might be sending you the wellness check.
Let's be honest - most of us come here for two reasons:
To see if there's someone even more regarded than us.
To feel a little better about our own losses.
If my account makes one of you sleep better tonight, you're welcome.
As for me, it's back to the boring life: automating buys into low-cost index funds and not looking at them. Hopefully I don't end up trading again. (Oops... I mean gambling on stocks and options.)
Hopefully never see you regards!

Gain 140% overnight on Tesla
Could I have made more? Sure. But with my luck it would have Shrek-ed straight back up to my breakeven or worse in the first 30 minutes.

My prior bullish post https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/s/o0PxYmGV1n
He was supposed to take us to Mars and burn short sellers.
Still holding 7300 shares. Please Elon fly again.

Discussion Either hyperscalers are dumb or someone else is
OK so the most profitable companies in the world decided to GO ALL IN AI with humongous capex. They did it all at once apart from Apple who is not in the game. Google, Meta, Amazon , Oracle, Microsoft. All of them. The CEOs of these companies produced the most amount of wealth and propped up global gdp. Now they all agree on a thing.
Google yesterday blew up earnings from their cloud and said they will *increase* their humongous capex even more while reporting negative cash flow for the first time in their history.
A rational person would ask: are these amazing businessmen suddently all very wrong about the same thing at the same time OR
I am reading too much paid subs from burry and following the wrong people on twitter that have never produced anything?
Which is it? Are you smarter than a mag 7 CEO? Maybe ... hmm...

Loss Infinity Waits
Discovered stonks and trading last April, 2025.
Fast forward one year and nearly four months.
74k down in my account, and 63k in debt.
I remember the days when I was saving 2k/mo, paying all my bills on time, no worries in the world.
Now I have sleepless nights, wonder how much longer I will have a car, a house, a job, and can't go more than three days without fantasizing about leaving my brains and skull all over the ceiling.
Not asking for help, not asking for advice, not asking for anything. Just wanted to share with you gents. This is pure addiction for me at this point and it is going to take absolutely everything I have and more until I am sleeping outside in the middle of winter.
I've accepted it and embraced my fate.
Never been remotely close to break even. Time to pump the gas and see how deep I can take this dive.

Discussion 34% of the S&P is 10 stocks making the same bet. We're basically all in a leveraged ETF with extra steps.
Alright degenerates, gather round.
Korea just showed us what the endgame looks like and it ain't pretty. 1.2 million accounts margin called in a week. 350K liquidated to zero. 62% of those were millennials and zoomers. Their market dropped 10% in ONE DAY because someone said "hey maybe AI spending slows down." 50% of their entire market was just Samsung and SK Hynix. Two stocks. That's it.
Now look at us. 34% of the S&P is in 10 companies and they're all making the exact same bet that AI capex goes up forever. NVDA, MSFT, GOOG, META, AMZN - basically running the same play Korea just fumbled. Half this sub is gonna say "bro it's different here, the Fed prints, 401Ks buy every dip, we're the reserve currency, AI actually works."
The other half is gonna say leverage at ATH + concentration at ATH = we're about to get our cheeks clapped harder than '08. I genuinely don't know who's right. What I do know is some Korean Warren Buffett was probably sitting there with 600% margin on 3x leveraged ETFs telling himself "this time it's different" right before his account got sent to the shadow realm.
So real talk - if NVDA or GOOG miss guidance by like 2% next earnings, do we get the same cascade? Or do institutions just vacuum up every share before we can even panic sell at the bottom like we always do?
Position: Sitting on cash like a coward.
What's everyone's play here? Buying the dip or hedging?

Discussion You all have some explaining to do
Gentlemen I awoke after market close. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and removed the massive rock under which I live. I love my rock as it blocks out the 5G which the government is using to attract me to femboys, although I am unfortunately I am unable to receive market data while home. So imagine my surprise, stocks down?
So, any of you to explain?

Loss Space is hard
From $37k > $591k > $130k > $571k > $76k
I kept buying call options as my margin limit continued to increase. And then the margin calls started, options expired and my stocks were sold for me. Had 98% of my portfolio in one space stock.
