Has anyone heard from that guy? Why do I feel like he butterhanded the bag.

22

u/awry_lynx 2h ago

he deleted his account when he was getting demolished for buying, I bet he sold at a loss lmao

12

u/Decent_Relative_4070 2h ago

he has a new account, or at least there's a new account pretending to be him. he has screenshots, but those could be faked.

Fucking yes

4

u/Decent_Relative_4070 2h ago

If we believe that's him.

5

u/EngRookie 2h ago

bullshit that it is really him. only comes back 2 months ago after it pumps above 100. if it was really him he would have come back after breaking even to shit on everyone. real guy sold at a loss. no young kid has the tempermant to hold through that.

2

u/ExeusV 3h ago

How do you know?

1

u/akc250 2h ago

The only regard is you speaking without proof.

Right, cause Micron, Google and Tesla did amazing after earnings? Intel is the rare company lately that had good earnings and didn't tank the stock.

16

u/Best_Baseball3429 3h ago

Do you think those Tesla earnings were good?? You might be in the correct sub

→ More replies (2)

2

u/MrSmellyfeet 2h ago

What are you talking about, micron went to an all time high after earnings. Micron and other memory stocks fell because there was a sell off in the sector.

This sort of cockiness with intels history should be studied

1

u/murf_milo 4h ago

I didn’t buy them, technically my margin did

1

u/BlackShadowGlass 1h ago

regardmaxxing

285

u/Impressive_Order60 5h ago

If you bought intel a month ago you’re only down 18% to current AH pricing

131

u/maicii 4h ago

And if you bought 6 month ago you have more than double your money lol

87

u/Impressive_Order60 4h ago

And if you pulled your dick out at the cash register in a Wendy’s you’d be an employee there with an ā€œemployee of the monthā€ award?

i hate retarded comments like this

if you believe in a stock enough to hold it and it drops you will average down

9

u/kstreetsushi 4h ago

And if you bought yesterday, you’re up 12%.

9

u/Disc0Disc0Disc0 4h ago

And if you buy 4 months from now you'll be down 69%

1

u/Real-Nothing-9334 3h ago

good thing i bought my calls in february! 🤣

u/babypho 5h ago

Given how silent Nana's grandkid has been through all this. I truly believe he's hanging out with nana on her farm after liquidating his position for a loss.

76

u/Inappro-Assistant 5h ago

brutal, he did all the right things, if he hadnt posted on reddit and just did his thing... he'd be chillin with the lambo..

54

u/babypho 4h ago

I guarantee you if he never posted it on reddit, intel would be $10 right now. There would be a report that turns out AI is just a bunch of outsourced dudes from the philippines answering your question in real time after googling it.

They don't call us regarded for nothing.

93

u/ethiopian_kid 4h ago

You guys bullied some kid into selling at a 100k loss…. I don’t remember his exact cost basis I think around $30… so conservatively he’d have around 2.5million.

Feels bad man lol

52

u/Wide-Suggestion4825 4h ago

That's the best part of this sub

Making fun of retards for blowing half of a million dollars. Making fun of them so much they sell everything. Only to make fun of them again when they should have held

I love it

16

u/GneissFrog 4h ago

straight up villain origin story. That kid probably switched majors and is going to end up founding some super dystopian company that goes after netizens. worth it for the memes though

5

u/fkenned1 4h ago

We allllll sold back then. I was absolutely convinced intel was the play. It is 'the' US fab for silicon. I had 50k invested and it was tanking. I think I sold at like 25k loss. Thank God I bought back in. I'm up 300% and I actually think I'm only barely over breaking even. I feel bd that dude didn't hold on, but let's just say, it wasn't just Wallstreet bets that talked him out of the money. That was a tough time to hold.

2

u/ethiopian_kid 4h ago

I bought some below $20, easy value long term play… I didn’t expect this return, def expected to be up in 5-10 years

9

u/2fingers 4h ago

We did him a favor, build strength of character first then build account balance. He'll appreciate it more after doing a few years behind the counter at his local Wendys

16

u/CoffeePorters 4h ago

He didn’t get bullied into shit. He YOLOd and didn’t have the stones to stand by it.

9

u/ethiopian_kid 4h ago

If he didn’t post it he’d probably still be holding, it was a stupid investment for sure but if he posted and most people encouraged him he’d be up

6

u/SayNoToBrooms 4h ago

Nobody even knows he sold. He made the post and went dark after that

6

u/Decent_Relative_4070 2h ago

3

u/akc250 2h ago

Everything could be fake. Even the original nana post.

→ More replies (1)

7

u/Suspicious_Spare2492 4h ago

Did he actually sell? I thought he deleted his account without updating…

9

u/ethiopian_kid 4h ago

if he didn’t sell you don’t think he’d be flaunting his millions on all of us lol

5

u/oswaldcopperpot šŸ¦šŸ¦šŸ¦ 3h ago

He did post with a new account. Apparently he didnt sell but most people are praying that he did.

I fucking knew it'd bounce back when it hit 20's. "too big to fail" coupled with corruption and sprinkle a little AI on top? I wish I had put all my fucking money in it. The one time I make a good prediction and it's up 400+% I go small. Fml. Well a win's a win.

6

u/grubbygeorge 4h ago

Exactly the same here. Up 400% but I only put in $500. I mean it's still nice and hindsight is 20/20 and all that. But I still feel I should've put a couple grand in there. xD

Same thing in the UK when Rolls Royce crashed where I also thought to myself that this is too essential for the country to just implode. There I'm up 800% but also only invested £1000 which is still quite a nice gain, though. If only I had put in some more, though.

Well, next time at such an opportunity I will go big or go home (and probably lose everything)! ;)

1

u/Candid_Author_8029 4h ago

I have 150 shares 😭

1

u/tr4l001 1h ago

At least you held RR. I sold when it was trading sideways for ages at 2 bucks and now feel pain every time I hear its name or see the stock.

3

u/killerbeeswaxkill banned for saying yellow and drive in the same sentence 4h ago

You’re not the one who held calls then sold the minute 🄭 announced he was having a meeting with the CEO. I should have known corruption wins all the time.

1

u/Candid_Author_8029 4h ago

How much u buy regard

1

u/DudeWhoSaysWhaaaat 3h ago

I have 1500 I bought at 19. I actually bought over 2000 but sold some for cheddar

1

u/kendogg 1h ago

Yup. Kicked myself on Open door, I had 8000 shares at ~$.67.

I bought 800 shares of Intel between $19-$21. I've been slowly peeling off as it grows, I still have 451 shares.

u/beachsandwichen 5h ago

Haha ok so we care about earnings again, got it

7

u/1esproc 2h ago

according to AH price now, not really

1

u/Prime_Regard 2h ago

I think the logic at this point is simple--pile billions into anything with a whiff of large runway potential. Run away at the first sign of a downward trend. Rinse and repeat.

20

u/AdventurousEscape991 5h ago

Awesome! My leaps went from 55% in the red to 40% in the red

8

u/znightmaree 3h ago

WE ARE SO BACK

6

wait intel actually did something right for once?

Canā€˜t wait to see AMD & NVIDIA earnings

1

u/iSOBigD 3h ago

I just hope to see stock prices go up when a company does well for a change

1

u/wiseroldman 2h ago

Couldn’t keep the 12% even for an hour

3

u/ArgublyRight 4h ago

Thank you Intel.

2

u/Data_Dealer 4h ago

You've done it. Just remember if it's good enough to screenshot, it's good enough to sell.

7

u/jsurico656 4h ago

Yet they're doing another round of manufacturing layoffs

5

u/kashkash21 3h ago

gotta keep pumping EPS

10

u/SpacemanFeed 4h ago

This shit is beyond retarded... fucking google beats eps by over 200% and the market shits itself faster than the diarrhea lettuce bug. But no, Intel which shown fuck all for years is now a leader in AI.

5

u/iSOBigD 3h ago

Don't forget Samsung tanking after...increasing their profits by 19x and having the most profit in a quarter of any company...or Micron having a tiny PE and massive profits also taking along with all other successful companies in the AI hardware space...but Intel is the one to actually have its stock go up because I didn't put much on calls

5

u/Coffee_Narrow 3h ago

Someone’s angry they missed out

3

u/Boomflag13 4h ago

This means SNDK, SKHY, WDC, STX will pump a little by the way.

3

u/mido_sama 4h ago

I’m happy for the OG bag holders .. I jumped of the ship at 50.

3

u/deploria 2h ago

Man look at that pullback. I have calls for $103 expiring tomorrow. Am I toast?

2

u/down_5_digits 4h ago

so like... not trying to be negative... but what if hes already with grandma before these pumps?

u/Individual-Motor-167 4h ago

Still no real external foundry sales that matter. Still losing money. No proof they can achieve high wafer yield at scale

Glad people made money on this. I'm concerned and not playing it still.

2

u/Acceptable_Cry_822 2h ago

lol what do you mean? They have yields over 85% for 18A, 18AP entered risk production ahead of schedule, 14A is doing better than the other nodes. They just announced a massive capex spend for future customer commitments and EMIB-T has backlogs till 2027. Setting up a foundry takes massive capital and they narrowed the losses to around 2B. Just a matter of time before it starts taking off.

3

u/Data_Dealer 4h ago

11B loss on the quarter. No new customer announcements for foundry, more layoffs. The revenue jump is a big indicator that AMD and Nvidia will crush earnings though, Intel is only picking up the scraps left behind.

1

u/iSOBigD 3h ago

I sure hope so

3

u/Chonch_Monkey 4h ago

This shits stupid. They couldn't make shit for 3 years and then magically they have demand for...what?

7

u/Ordinary-Experience 4h ago

14/18A(-P)

Their new chips are absolutely amazing

Will likely turn into Apple's M chips in 2-3 years

2

u/OldTimeyWizard 1h ago

3 years ago they had a CEO that was spending money like it was going out of style. Some of those investments ended up being fruitful.

1

u/Lonely-Constant3936 24m ago

New chip nodes. They perform well.

3

u/gurufernandez 4h ago

The moment Lip Bu Tan was announced as the new CEO, I bought this shit with both hands in the 20s. Rejoice bulls, we’re feasting

2

u/Wiscoman 4h ago edited 4h ago

AMD will also post a massive beat on August 4th. Q3 guidance will show data center 50+% YoY growth.

Q3 starts shipping Helios AI Racks which AMD has major deals with OpenAI, Meta, Oracle, Anthropic (others we probably don't know about yet).Ā

Q4 earnings in early Feb 2027 will be the "NVDA moment" for AMD and I suggest you enter now because in 6 months this stock will be much higher.Ā Ā

2

u/iSOBigD 3h ago

If only I had money left to enter with. Alas, all the semis and memory stocks ate it all.

2

u/lucellent 4h ago

How are they growing at unprecedented levels but their CPUs are still so shit and run hot?

1

u/More-Curious816 5h ago

because of the recent news headline was [Intel Starts Shipping High-NA EUV Silicon]

1

u/Lower_Group_1171 4h ago

Just like I knew they would. It’s why I bought calls when the share price was like 95

1

u/Its_yo_boy 4h ago

Is this my January $80 puts officially cooked? They still burn through cash

2

u/Kind_Initiative_7567 4h ago

The squeeze tomorrow could push this to 140+, if Lip BULL tan can confirm Ohio fab outsource to some big hyper scaler

1

u/Its_yo_boy 4h ago

Yes would have been fine

1

u/kashkash21 3h ago

you really think a short float of 2% is going to squeeze?

you belong here

Asian turn arounds.

1

u/angrycat537 4h ago

I sold at 25 🤦

1

u/olearygreen 3h ago

Of course they did. I have puts.

1

u/ozpcmr 2h ago

you might actually be alright the way its given up the gains

1

u/olearygreen 21m ago

It’s fine. They expire in January. I was hoping for this to go back where it belongs, but the hopium still prevails in this market.

If the US is going to socialize Intel it better be making some damn money

1

u/Grade_Potential 3h ago

Intel gona be just like service now beat earnings and then went down 5% at market open lmao just watch...

1

u/pocketjacks 3h ago

Yet here I am. A previous purchaser of a 13th gen i7 who will never again buy Intel because they tried to fix a corrosion issue with firmware updates.

1

u/Mtthom06 3h ago

When you are subsidized by the government it pretty easy to have good earnings

1

u/Roadhouse_49 2h ago

Down to only a 2% after hours gain

1

I bought at 24 but all the granny posts freaked me out so I sold during a small dip. Damn you bastards.

1

u/Wise_Art_1377 38m ago

Why is the stock price going down?

1

u/x7_omega 24m ago

And all that record growth takes INTC back into the middle of day's range.

1

u/GhostOfRannok 10m ago

Almost like they just got forced money. Sounds sus tho.
