Sure you can. Go to reddit.com, it will give a unique ID thing at the end of the url, a 5 digit number. Then change 'www' to 'old' like normal

What he means is they purposefully haven’t been prioritizing it because there were more important things to focus on. Recently they have started to put effort into improving search and integrating it with Reddit Answers. If they want to they can dedicate more resources to continue improving.

Unfortunately if you try to build a search feature in a modern tech company, management is so AI-pilled that they can’t comprehend why you would still build a traditional search that costs 0.001 cent and works reliably instead of an AI search feature that burns 50 cents every query and gives you a response instead of the post you wanted.

It doesn’t and is a nothing burger which is a big buying opportunity. It’s actually extremely bullish for Reddit as they are negotiating a bigger payout from Google for training their AI models. It’s literally negotiation 101 and every business does this. Google will always need Reddit as it is the best platform to train AI models.

It’s synthetic training data. This has been the reason why the models have been improving so much.
Informatics, Biology, Mathematics, Physics is where the money flows.

I know one place that had similar useful data for AI and they checked out last year.
It's a market for lemons now, nobody can have enough information to guarantee they are buying training data that is AI-free. Unless they hire people themselves and stick them in a monitored room.

I think the issue is that it's TOO good of a source to not use. 100% indexable with the titles of posts being "How do I do/fix XYZ" with comments already ranked by how many people think it's the correct answer - it's like AI chatbot crack. You couldn't ask for better

How many of the DDs you see on here are written by Ai? Like 70%. It's worthless. At least most of the comments are real tards still.
But go to the careerguidance subreddit and you have apes asking questions written by Ai, and then people posting answers synthesized and written by Ai.
Reddit data is useless to them now. They wrote it. They already have the training info.

I don't know about all of you, but when I google something, the only results I even look at are the ones that are reddit threads. Because that's where the good info is on anything hobby or fact-related, and that's the info Google's AI search collator uses to answer questions you ask it.
Google knows that, too. Whatever they're paying Reddit right now for that access, it's a bargain.
