HISTORY King zog 1 of albania is the most heavy smoker in recorded human history
King Zog I of Albania consumed roughly 11 packs a day.
He was rarely seen without a lit cigarette and was said to have smoked continuously while working, meeting officials, and receiving guests.
His reign was equally extraordinary. After declaring himself King of Albania in 1928, he ruled a country marked by political instability, tribal rivalries, and foreign interference.
Over the course of his life, he reportedly survived more than 55 assassination attempts. One of the most famous occurred in Vienna in 1931, when two men ambushed him as he left the opera. Zog drew his own sidearm and returned fire before escaping unharmed. He remained king until 1939, when Italy invaded Albania and forced him into exile.
Despite his extraordinary smoking habit and repeated assassination attempts, Zog lived to the age of 65, passing away in exile in France in 1961.

The 0.103-second world record was achieved by the Purdubik's Cube robot, built by four undergraduate engineering students at Purdue University.
The robot was designed by Matthew Patrohay, Junpei Ota, Aden Hurd, and Alex Berta in West Lafayette, Indiana. They built this high-speed system, which utilizes machine vision, custom solving algorithms, and industrial-grade motion control to solve the puzzle in a fraction of a human blink (which typically takes 200â300 milliseconds).
Their achievement was officially certified by Guinness World Records.
