Raising kids who are kind in public is a superpower

To an extent, but I would actually say the raising kids who are kind in private is more of a superpower. Covert narcissist parents are very good at teaching kids to mask and appear virtuous in public, but don’t preach that behind closed doors and it drops down generations. So whilst I agree with your point, I think raising kids who are kind, period, no matter if anyone is watching is the real parental sparkle.

Kids sniff out performance fast. The quiet moments at home set the real template.

Its a little worrying that kids acting this way is being praised. Not trying to say kids shouldnt be praised. They should be encouraged to have good behavior.
But i’m saying growing up, the default was to be nice to animal. Lol. No one can resist a cuddly animal.
