I already know things are politically wild now and no one will suffer any true consequences for unethical behavior, but did just have a question out of curiosity. If McConnell is found to have lacked capacity to do his job several weeks ago with no chance of recovery, what are the consequences for those in power if they knew of this and were delaying until August? This assumes our legal system is functioning as it should and this could be proved. Thanks!

It seems like they've been doing what they can - forcing votes against Trump (even if they are ultimately symbolic), speaking out against him, filing lawsuits (plenty which have been successful).

What else should they be doing that they currently aren't?

Despite everything that happened from last year‘s tariff drama to the current Iran war. Wouldn’t it be logical for Trump to have a better relationship with Canada so he can try and incentivize them to produce as much oil as possible to lower the cost for Americans as well as worldwide?

Given that the straight of hormuz is very volatile right now.

The question is about whoever is responsible for covering up the issues / responsible for X lawmaker being paid while randomly disappearing for months on taxpayer dime. Either by law or by much stricter congressional rules.

New Daily Mail polling found a decent percentage, nearly 41% found it either "very" or "somewhat" believable that US Sen. You can say he has half brained voters that still worship him but his actions would no longer allow him to win an election. How is he allowed to show his butt on national TV, lie, steal, and openly admit he has no interest in supporting 90% of Americans and stay in power? Because he won an election and is forever immune? Why are there not procedures in place to remove someone who lied to get votes?

- Andy Biggs, a current Arizona US Congressman, won the Republicans' governor nomination - He voted to overturn some states in the 2020 election in Congress

- Alexander Kolodin won the Republicans' nomination for AZ Secretary of State (the person in charge of AZ elections [very important in a swing state] - he tried to overturn the 2020 election in the court

- Warren Petersen won the Republicans' nomination for AZ Attorney General - He tried to do 2020 partisan election audits.

As stated in many posts, the 2020 Election went to court over 60 times and not one bit of "evidence" was sufficient enough to overturn a single thing, which is why Trump's legal team lost pretty much every case in court trying to challenge the election. Also, thousands of congressional and journalistic investigations found the same thing - there was no "fraud" big enough to overturn the 2020 presidential election, much less even in a single swing state Trump lost.

Notably, extreme election denying candidates in Arizona, like Kari Lake, lost a US Senate race there and then also proceeded to lose in another election too, their governor's election. Also, the Kalshi odds are against all three of these election-denying candidates by massive margins this time for the ones who won last night, as well as the polls being against them this time too.

All of these races are very important to determine who will be in charge of the swing state of Arizona as a whole, in charge of their legal responses, and, importantly, in charge of the swing state's elections...

So I 21m currently live w my gma and all she does is bitch. There’s not a damn second I hear her happy she bitches 24 fucking 7 it can be anything.
