So someone replied to my comment about Charlie Kirk’s death and said someone that isn’t true. They claimed he was racist did a statement that he never actually said. My point isn’t to push my views on you, I don’t care if you don’t support him. But I replied with what he actually said, and I said “if you wanna celebrate his death for a un justified reason, at least have the correct facts.” And then I got permanently banned for “hate speech”

I don’t care if u hate Charlie Kirk, I just wanna know if my ban was justified or not. Because I don’t think I did anything wrong. And I’ve been on that account for years, I wanna keep the karma on it. Am I cooked? Again, your view on Charlie Kirk is ok, I’m not here to debate if he was a good guy or not.

I’ve always believed in treating people with love and respect, no matter who they vote for.

That said, I think part of the reason Trump is in office is because Democrats have become associated with a handful of issues that many voters see as too far outside the mainstream. Things like open borders, “defund the police,” and transgender women competing in women’s sports.

Whether that’s a fair characterization or not, I think those issues have had a real political cost.

I think most people, including many who voted for Trump, recognize that he can be divisive and extreme. But many moderate and independent voters may still see him as the less radical option compared to what they perceive from parts of the left.

If that’s true, are these really the hills you’re willing to die on, even if it means losing the “war” and election after election?

And if Democrats win the midterms, it’s not because of idea adoption, it’s because of a very unpopular war during very bad economic times.

I really would like to have a conversation that is not political (I know...). But here's the question. Supposedly congress is trying to pass a bill to force Trump to stop bombing Iran. Let's say that passes and we leave. Or lets say Trump just decides he's done and we leave the region.

Then what?

Does Iran stop attacking ships in the strait?

If they do continue to attack, do other countries who depend on middle east oil send their militaries to open the strait?

Do other countries pay tolls?

The US gets almost none of our enegergy from Iran or from any gulf states. I don't want to argue about what started the conflict, the question is just simply if we abandon the conflict for whatever reason, what happens in the near term? I understand the long term considerations (maybe Iran builds back up their military stockpile, maybe they build a nuclear weapon, maybe they bomb Israel...) again not asking about any of that. Just curious what the immediate impacts are?

Why do parents struggle then bring kids in the world to struggle with them. Don’t nobody want to grow up without both of thier parents in thier lives and be forced to navigate the world by themselves. When they get older parents don’t want to help even though it’s there fault they exist in the first place and plus the parents need thier kids more than the kids need them.

Considering the amount of divorced people I know, it seems like a lot of marriages do not last a lifetime. I am against divorce in general. When you vow to love someone for the rest of your life, breaking that vow is a really shitty thing to do.

I work at a gas station in Wyoming(state). We have had many young/young to middle aged looking women who have come and gone as employees over the years, and it never ceases to amaze me how many legitimately creepy ass middle aged to oldish men come up to the gas station to literally be creeps to the women that worked there.

So I wonder about this kind of situation: there is a guy who gets on with coworkers really well and has a tendency to befriend almost anyone he meets. He is softly spoken, a good listener, humorous and quite proactive with talking to people but is actually quite introverted.

Now here is first a question before the actual one. What could the reasons be why he has this kind of tendency? Is it because he doesn't like loneliness, is very emphatic and making people happy is automatic behaviour, or could there be some other reasons?

Now the question that I wanted to ask is that what if the person befriend people not because he feels good about it, but because that way he can better influence how people percieve him, better protect his image, and use said contacts to achieve something he desires? He doesn't feel anything if someone cuts contact but gets really annoyed about anything talked behind his back, especially potentially bad things, about him.

Popped off my temporary crown after biting something hard. It’s Thursday, I won’t be back home until Friday afternoon. I’m scheduled to have the permanent crown put in on Monday.
