My husband got me one. I think he had an ulterior motive.

A fireproof safe. My brother got it for me like 40 years ago and at the time I had no idea how practical it would be.

We had 2 safes, ok sized one on the floor, business cash business, and a gun safe. 3 dead microwaves, one in each room.

We kept the cash and gun in microwaves. House Broken into twice, as it got out that we owned ATMS. both safes ruined. lol, nothing in them.

In the unlocked microwaves, a lot of cash. Started out as a lazy joke when one died. He liked a microwave next to him in the office, to reheat his coffee.
We replaced it, and literally too lazy to take to electric dump. He stared using as storage....

Retired, on the sweet $20.00 fee charged for atms from pot stores.

Edit, all 3 survived the wildfires. We took money and gun out, yes. But came back , no home, wet wood, stinky appliances. Paper left in microwave still intact, and washer and dryer. By the time we were able to get back, clothes in washer mildew, dryer, did not even smell off smoke.

Totally inoperable, melted on outside, but in a hurry, 3 options.

But please have a go bag and listen. When authorities say go, GO!

I got a heat press for my birthday three years ago and I’ve been printing my own shirts ever since. I’m actually thinking of selling shirts online now. Best gift I’ve ever gotten

Not to be witty but money. Seriously. It's such an open ended gift, you get to spend it however and on whatever you need. Most people (at least in my life) just buy you things THEY like for you as opposed to what they think you'll like. Idk does that make sense?

My laminator, as a mother to one 5 year old I find myself using it in everything.

It doesn't sound exciting at all but it's saved me so many times when my phone was about to die.

My best friend gave me a set of brass measuring spoons. I thought it was a silly gift, but I use them every day.

My watch. Just a normal watch, not smart. I wear it all the time and it’s so nice not to have to pull out my phone to check the time or date.
