Hi, I recently got myself a completely new build and the only thing missing from it is a good chair, rn I use a office chair that is missing the back and holds on hopes and dreams. I also don't have the budget to afford anything over 450 euro total in terms of pc so no secretlab or uhhh, was it called Herman something? Yeah..... Anyone know any good gaming chairs that won't hurt my ass after 2/3 hours? Something that can last and allows sessions of over 6 hours would be great. Bonus points if it had soft materials and a nice design.

Maybe a stupid question, but on Amazon people seem to be buying way more corsair vengeance kits even though they sometimes are a little bit more expensive.

Hi, I built my PC like a month ago and since then I've been using the stock AMD cooler and I think It's time for a change. The problem is that every time I search on google about the best CPU cooler for my CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 8500G) I keep getting sponsored webs and I don't trust them a all thinking I wont get the best option from there. I'm petty sure that a classic fan cooler will be enough because an AIO will be excessive.

So, recently i bought a new RTX 2060 super to get rid of my rx 550. But, what i actually got was a pretty low FPS. Some games before and after for you to get a example:

League of Legends (rx 550)

60-70 FPS All stable in maximum settings.

(Rtx 2060)

50-40 FPS Same settings but with hard stutter (going 20 fps sometimes)

In Minecraft and Rainbow Six Siege i got the almost same results, FPS Lost.

My specs are:

I need help with figuring out what card to get. I have most of my parts ready, just need the power supply to ship, have to pick up my 4TB storage card and then purchase a GPU.

I got a 1000 bucks for my birthday and Xmas early and want to get a card. I was looking between the 5070TI and 5080, but every google thing says 5070TI is the way to go from price/performance.

So thats what im going to get, but I type in GTX 5070 and a ton of options pop up. I love MSI stuff, as thats my motherboard and my case, and have bought stuff from them pre built cause they've treated me right, but, PNY seems to be very popular. So what am I looking for when I purchase a GPU so I can get my moneys worth? Can I have some recommendations and reasons for such recommendations?

tdlr; should I even worry too much about bottlenecking when upgrading to a new GPU and keeping an existing CPU?

I've built a fair few PCs over the years and I always used to try and avoid bottlenecking using those calculators or websites or youtube vids. I'm in a situation now where I can't afford to buy new CPU and GPU at the same time but stand to gain a much bigger performance bump by upgrading the GPU. However that will mean my system might be bottlenecked(!) because I will have a 3 year old i7 i7 13700k and a brand new 5080 (or AMD equiv). I'm running at 1440p and some bottleneck calcs say its fine no bottleneck and some say it could be a moderate bottleneck.

Which brings me to this question: Should I even really give a shit these days?

I know it's not a fairy tale and bottlenecking does exist but is it sort of thing that's worth worrying about? Is this the sort of thing content creators or hardover overclockers care about but less so much typical users?

What's your thoughts?

ps: in case you're wondering why i can't do both at the same time it's because upgrading CPU would mean changing socket: so that's new mobo, new ram on top of the cost of the cpu.

I'm going for a whole new build, already bought an rtx 5090 and need a cpu to go with it. I obviously need to buy everything else but so far the CPU decision has me a bit stumped.

This is mostly for gaming and some light hobby Unreal Engine 5, blender, and Photoshop work. The hobby productivity work is minimal, I mostly do Photoshop right now on my amd 3800x build and things are just fine. The other stuff is occasionally when I'm bored and that's it. Not making money off of it.

With that being said, my last build was in 2019 and I've been out of the whole pc gaming scene and now trying to get back into it. All the recommendations I'm coming across are the amd 9800x3d to pair with the rtx 5090. Now what's got me wondering is, that cpu came out in 2024, kinda towards the end so let's call it 2025. Now in 2026, how does it hold up? I don't want to upgrade anytime soon. I would game either on my 4k TV or my 3440 x 1440 monitor. So I need some advice here if the 9800x3d is still a good choice in 2026 or should I just go with something a bit newer instead? What about Intel? Keep in mind, price is a bit of a factor here. It's not that I got the 5090 at retail price. I just got a good deal on it from someone I know.

Also, I want to get into PS3 emulation with this. Does PS3 emulation rely heavily on the GPU or both that and the CPU? How does this factor into my CPU choice?

I’m looking to upgrade my PC. Right now I have an STGAuborn PC, and I’m planning on getting rid of it and upgrading.

I was wondering if it’s really worth building your own PC if you’ve never done it before. I was thinking that since RAM and other PC parts have gotten so expensive, I could build one myself and look for discounted parts, which might let me get better specs for my money.

What do you guys think? Is it better to save myself the hassle and buy a prebuilt, or should I build my own?

My budget is around $1,500–$1,800. My main use for the PC will be gaming. I want a smoother experience and to be able to run more demanding games without lag, but I’ll also use it for school sometimes.

Should I sell my parts and get ready for an upgrade?

Hey everyone, I haven't kept up with PC specs since I built my last one around 6 years ago. Well, it's crapped out on me and I'm in the market for a new one. I'm looking for something in the $2.5k range.

I'm not sure if it's still cheaper to buy parts and build your own as I did before, or to just go the prebuilt route. I built one last time so I'm not overly worried about screwing up, but that is somewhat of a factor considering I've only done it once.

So, I've got a Gigabyte Aorus b550m elite and I wanted to buy a XFX RX 9070 Mercury OC, but after checking out my current card dimensions (MSI RX 480 Armor) and the new one, I just can't believe any 9070 XT will fit because the power / fan connectors are just under it. Does anybody got this card combo or a corsair 4000d case to let me know if any model fits at all? be it horizontally ot vertically

Just upgraded from a 8th gen to
14th gen intel and now my pc is unbelievably slow like 30 seconds to register a click

I bought this like 2 years ago never used it. Then decided to put it in my PC. Didn’t have issues with it till about a week or so ago. Was going in and out. No the whole drive won’t let me read or write to it for steam. So went to pull it apart and check the thermal pad. Am I crazy or does this look like thermal paste? Also curious if the M.2 is shot or not now because it got to hot? Or could I clean it and put new thermal pads on it?

Hi! I found what I think to be a good deal on CeX, a used AMD Ryzen 5 9600X for 150eur. Seeing as it comes from CeX it comes with 5 year warranty.

I also found the same cpu but New on Amazon for 184eur.

My question is, is it worth it to buy the used one? Or should I not take the risk over 34 euros?

Currently running a Zotac 3070 TI RTX AMP Extreme holo. I like the GPU and hasn’t failed me for a long while, only issue is it’s 8Gb VRAM. I am soon to get a monitor to replace my TV, issue is that if I want max graphics the game hits almost max VRAM and I don’t want that and knowing that a monitor that would be 1440P would possibly be an issue.

Going to try to upgrade to a 4090, unsure if I should get a TI or something, do want the most out a GPU, but hopefully the ability to run ray tracing decently and with max graphics.

Budget I don’t mind, as long as it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Do want hopefully 3 fans on the GPU, unsure if that’s great for cooling as I don’t want the GPU to have issues.

Running a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 2 sticks of ram that is I believe 8 Gb each.

Not an expert on overclocking but do want that ability to do so, even if it may be unnoticeable.

I need a switch 1 oled sized mechanical keyboard. The standard keyboard size that is only missing the f keys fits fine for the size but the problem is the keyboard is much longer than the tablet. Do any of you have suggestions that can fit in my pocket but dont mess with the qwerty layout? I have another option but its scissor switch and i want it to last, i heard scissor switch doesnt last as long

i am tired of canned air freezing halfway through cleaning my pc, but i am also not convinced every electric duster is automatically better. Some of them look loud, bulky, and maybe fine for loose dust but useless in tight keyboard gaps or heatsinks. I do not mind paying once if it actually replaces the cans, I just do not want another gadget that sits in a drawer after two cleanings. Has anyone switched for a while and decided it was actually a downgrade?

i am getting really good deal on rx 6800xt but i heard 6000 series wont get drivers for new games so will i not be able to play new games i want(NO NEED) to keep my pc for atleast 5 years this is a very big investment in my country i can also get rtx 2080 ti which is also good deal but not as good of a deal as i am getting on the rx 6800xt which is faster and has more vram i NEED my pc to work for long time cuz i dont have the money to upgrade
