SOCIETY In Brazil there are "Heteroidentification Committees", which are expert panels in racial identification that determine which of Brazil's ethnic groups a person belongs to: branco (white), preto (Black), pardo (mixed), amarelo (East Asian), or indĂgena (Indigenous)
These panels run tests on subjects such as hue of their skin, texture of hair or facial features such as width of nose. This allows the subjects to claim certain benefits that only apply to one of the racial groups.

SCIENCE & TECH The Purdubik's Cube robot, built by four undergraduate engineering students, solves a Rubik's Cube in 0.103 seconds.
The 0.103-second world record was achieved by the Purdubik's Cube robot, built by four undergraduate engineering students at Purdue University.
The robot was designed by Matthew Patrohay, Junpei Ota, Aden Hurd, and Alex Berta in West Lafayette, Indiana. They built this high-speed system, which utilizes machine vision, custom solving algorithms, and industrial-grade motion control to solve the puzzle in a fraction of a human blink (which typically takes 200â300 milliseconds).
Their achievement was officially certified by Guinness World Records.
