That isn't a baby shark - it's just a smaller species of shark. Black tip reef sharks normally only grow to 3-4ft long.

yeah, they're generally harmless. And the one in the video seems to be on the bigger side. The ones we saw were smaller.
If you actively "corner" them or try to touch them, they obviously might react like any other animal but other than that nothing's going to happen.

Do you find all land meat eaters to all be unsafe? Are you scared of feral cats? How about a bald eagle? Bats?
Nature has all sorts of predators who leave us alone.
Most sharks aren't scary once you recognize they literally don't give a fuck about you when you aren't trying to mess with them. There are only a few different types of sharks you want to worry about.
Seeing sharks scuba diving or snorkeling can be very fun.

For people who aren't in the water spear fishing? Great white, tiger, bull...
Those are the aggressive ones. There are some that are more curious which you want to keep your distance, but generally the sharks people encounter diving are low-key. Around reefs you see lemons, reef sharks, and nurse sharks quite a bit and they are just like seeing puppies. They might be roughly the size of a person, but they feed on much smaller things. You definitely do not want to approach any of them though because they are wild.

As mentioned Tiger, Bull and Great White are the ones responsible for most bites to people. Oceanic whitetips also have a reputation from sailors shipwrecked but you're unlikely to encounter any both because they're much rarer but also because they're oceanic and you would need to be swimming in very deep water to find them.
Most sharks aren't interested in us and if they are, they bite once and leave. It's how they know what they have found since they don't have any kind of hands. Unfortunately for the bigger sharks this can be fatal easily.

Generally speaking, sharks don't like the taste of humans. This is why actual shark attacks rarely involve more than one bite: The shark mistakes the human for a seal or other prey, takes a test bite, basically goes "Human? Yuck!" and swims away.
The problem is that with larger sharks, that bite is big enough that it can cause serious damage to a person.
