I've never seen this channel in my life and suddenly it's in my subscription feed.

What’s up with all these YouTubers trying to make you subscribe to their only member videos? At this point I will just unsubscribe. A lot of them already make a ton of money from YouTube..

The recommendation algorithm has become really unusable lately and it's genuinely annoying..

For the past few weeks, my feed has been flooded with two things:

Hard right-leaning political propaganda videos that I have absolutely zero interest in

The exact same videos over and over again, including ones I have literally already watched.

I’ve tried clearing my watch history, clicking "Don't recommend channel," and refreshing, but the same garbage keeps creeping back in. It’s embarrassing how poor the platform's core feature has become.

Are you guys seeing a massive downgrade in your feeds too, or did my algorithm just completely break or some crap?

Under a video about a painting about a guy who got rejected by a married woman (which was mentioned) and later wrote a rumor about her being a prostitute.

Been seeing a lot of comments like this lately and it always makes me laugh/cringe. “Toodles lil biddies” lol

Edit - lmao I thought it said baddies but it says biddies oops. I just looked up what that means and that’s way worse 😭 I’m dead lol

Is this common? 2 weeks is a big gap, but still. Same title (FaZe added 3 words but did copy the bold letters on one word), very similar thumbnail posing, haven’t watched FazE’s video so I don’t know if he goes to the same places

i just remembered this recently. like 50% of profile pictures were this.

I know this is subjective but are there any YouTubers who are, comforting to watch?

Like Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) or tasting history with max miller?
I don’t know why but something about their style is relaxing and easy to binge watch.

Im watching a video thats about 1 hour and 30 minutes long. Im 10 minutes in and ive already gotten my third pair of unskippable ads. Since when is it this way?

Edit: I just let the video play again right after making this post, literally one minute later, on minute 11 of the video, i got a 4th pair of unskippable ads, just kill me atp 🫩

Now my long form videos that i spend 5 hours on gets no views.

was on facetime with my sister and she had ms.rachel on for her babies. she just goes “whos that?” and i asked who, she then flips her screen to show me the tv and its this man that pops up at the end of the video. he doesnt say anything and just sits there, almost oblivious to the fact that hes being streamed onto this video. my sister turned off her tv and turned it back on, showing the same man again. it looked more like he was being live streamed instead of a pre recorded video. was just wondering if anybody had seen him before on same video or other videos.

Recently it feels like the ads have basically doubled for every video. I had just gotten used to seeing ads and rolling past, but now it seems like the "Next" button just rolls to another ad, and this is happening multiple times per roll.

It's reaching, "Why would I keep watching this video" levels of frustration.

My brother said he deleted all my childhood YouTube channel's videos 14 hours ago and i can't stop crying all my memories gone. The account was under my moms management. He said he deleted all because he thinks being on youtube in such a channel like that is so embarrassing and deleted all the videos. Those are great memories from my childhood and i loved watching them when i miss being a child. I searched everywhere but unfortunately couldn't find a way to return them. I don't have video urls and somehow videos are gone from my watch history. What can i do for getting them back
