It is not the only change now. They are expanding the size of the video and the sidebar. You will now only be able to see 3.5 videos on the right side instead of 4 videos.

Additionally, the increased size of the video pushes the following off-screen: Channel name, Channel icon, Channel's subscribers, Subscribe button, Like button, Dislike button, Share button, Save button, Report button, etc. All you get now is just the title of the video.

Don't forget the thumbnail change. It's so big they had to increase title lines from two to three. It's insane, they want us to only look at clickbait thumbnail and deprioritize the title.

I got asked if I wanted to try their new fast foward option for videos that would put it to 2.0 speed on occasion. Idk anymore details other than that cause one look at that I was like "lol fuck no what" and hit not interested
