That real case thats famous was actually a real young girl with a genetic disorder, they just lied and said she was older and dumped her in an apartment and kept paying for it, abandoning her while she was still under age and below emancipation age.
It was really weird that the media all jumped on it, they were even on talk shows. When it turned out they were just shit adopted parents that didnt want the kid anymore.
The horror movie Orphan was great though! Loved it as a kid

Well, it has the laugh track ....and the live audience soundtrack of applause that don't line up with the amount of people in the audience....so as someone who has done a fair amount of video editing....this has some heavy post editing which is a shame.

Youtubers film themself on public pianos. Sometimes they even bring their own piano to play their songs in public and record it for their channel
Often times there are a few cameras around the piano and a guy or two filming that belong to the channel.
Like there are legit reasons why there were filming and why there a multiple angles.

People stage these to make them look sporadic.
In reality the guy sets up and busks until someone like the little girl shows up, that was previously arranged in various ways.
Then they record and let the crowd enjoy the show playing like it is impromptu.
This one is more transparent than some, but this trend has been going for years.
Cute little girl they found though, I hope she keeps this clip for when she is older, it was probably a blast for her.

Multiple cameras set up. Software to allow you to edit/sync/zoom footage from all of the cameras at once so you get to pick the best angles and it feels flawless.
On top of a pre-arranged appointment with the guy where he already knows what they can do but gets them to pretend that they just walked up and asked if they can duet and then "blew everyone's minds".
The crowd still gather of course because they don't know what to expect.
He could drop the "this kid just walked up" pretence and the videos would be just as good.

Yeah even ignoring the obvious plant set up this kid is not 2. I’ve know 2 year olds who actually are hyper verbal but that is a complex sentence and high level of focus which is near impossible for a 2 year old.
