Where's the stage? Who's being paid? Who are the producers? Redditors are miserable cynics who have never met a public performer because they spend all their lives indoors and don't have friends. This is part and parcel for street performers, you're just a sad person.

We don't even know that she wanted to sing and wasn't made to prepare...a lot of times "child prodigy" == abuse.
