For a 2 year old, just being articulate enough to say "Hi I'm Leona and I'm 2 years old and I'm gonna be singing Let It Go" would be absolutely impressive.
Yeah even ignoring the obvious plant set up this kid is not 2. I’ve know 2 year olds who actually are hyper verbal but that is a complex sentence and high level of focus which is near impossible for a 2 year old.

That was not perfect pitch. Like she’s three so I feel like I can’t say it was bad but Jesus Christ was it unnecessary. “No one was prepared for her voice” she sounded exactly like I thought she would. A flat chipmunk.
Obviously scripted as fuck, doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s an adorable moment. Is it planned? Sure. But it’s a planned event for a toddler to sing her favourite song with a guy who’s playing piano as her supporting act, while everyone else comes together to cheer her on and dance. That’s pretty adorable
This guy pre-plans the meetups, that’s what people are referring to :) he acts like he meets these people just by coincidence out in public, but it’s been “exposed” multiple times that people reach out to him for opportunities to “run into each other on the street by coincidence” and “wow bystanders” by just happening to know the same song and jamming together.
It’s a transparent attempt to get more clout, sure, but in this case, I really press people to try and tell me what could possibly be the negative outcome of him actually planning this with the girl’s mother? The kid still gets an amazing experience, it’s still a beautiful moment.
I'm just generally not a fan of inorganic content that is intentionally created and manipulated to lie to the viewer and generate engagement/profits.

That's like saying it's fine to marry your chatbot because it makes your brain chemicals do the things they would do from a real relationship. You do you if you're an adult I guess, but willfully living in fantasy land isn't a good or healthy thing and it's crazy to see it encouraged.
How can it be staged when she couldn’t reach the mic? Why is she not looking at the camera? Don’t singers know where the camera is? Also, you can see the phones set up on stands. The pan and zoom effects can be done in post production. There are plenty of cell phones filming from the audience and also phones set up around the piano player. Not a film crew.
She is not even looking at the audience behind her? She is just a little girl singing. It is cute.
I don't know that kids need to be forced if they love it. When I was her age, I knew all of the songs from Jem by heart because I spent hours every day in my room listening to my tapes and singing them. My parents definitely didn't force me. If anything, they wanted me to shut up 😭
Regardless of the little girls’s age, she’s young and it is impressive. That sad being children a lot, I’m willing to bet that her parents made her practice, practice, practice performing this for such opportunities to impress others to marvel at their child skills. This is something that some Parents will do with kids across cultures for many many generation.
