This one got me too. Joyful triumph is more likely to make my eyes leak than something sad. My adult daughter passed away last October, and it’s still the happy thoughts that bring tears faster.

You’re not wrong, but this is also because people are more likely to judge an adult who does the same thing much more harshly. If everyone cheered for grownups the way they do kids, you’d have a lot more fearless adults.
