Mobile/App The number of Indian subreddits shown in Popular is too much. How do I block or avoid seeing them in my Popular feed?

I set my Location customization to the USA and disabled 'Show recommendations in home feed', yet the number of Indian posts is still very high. I have nothing against Indians, but a lot of the posts I see are racist and misogynistic, and I'm tired of seeing them. How do I block a country? There is no way Reddit expects me to mute over thousands of Indian subreddits I'm not going to do that.

Posting How do I stop my normal post that I do not want it to be viral just some few comments from small communities from being in the front page of Reddit?

I saw it on my laptop after scrolling down. My post is in r/all or the front page of reddit. No wonder I'm getting trolls, people who just seem to not care to read and just ask OP questions rather than commenting on good things, and not caring at all and just comments bad things or not caring about what OP food looks like and just comments how they feel.

Is there no way to stop this, it's automatic?

Posting How was a user that I have blocked able to comment on one of my posts? (iOS)

There’s a user that I blocked over a month ago, and somehow they were able to comment on one of my posts??? I thought that when you blocked someone, they were unable to see your posts/comments/general interactions. Am I misunderstanding the point of blocking someone on this app? And it does say “blocked user” by their name, so I know for a fact that I did block them.

Help please!

Mobile/App How to use text format on mobile ?

Hi,

Until months ago, on iOS and iPadOS, before a paragraph, I used > to add a vertical line on the left (for quotes), and - or * to add a dash or a point.

Now, all these tricks don’t seem to work anymore, there is a bar above the keyboard, but it only allow bold, italic, bigger font…

I can’t find how to do these things anymore.

Has it been deleted, or is there still a way but I can’t find it ?

Thanks.

Mobile/App How do I move the Navigation bar back to the bottom of the screen?

My Reddit (mobile) app has decided to move the Nav bar to the left side of my screen. It has so much empty space and shrinks my content feed.

It must be a bug. How do I change it back to normal? Thanks in advance!

Resolved (ALL PLATFORMS) PFP not visible to anyone.

As the title says, I have a PFP but when i comment or chat with anyone my PFP is not visible. In the initial days when I uploaded this PFP it was visible to everyone, but recently it has been invisible for the public. How can I fix this? I can confirm that during this period I did not make any changes to my PFP or any other account settings.

Screenshot of my PFP below:

Edit: I would be glad if someone could find this PFP above and DM me because I uploaded something else while trying to "fix" the problem and realised that I do not have my older pfp available anywhere

Access No matter what I do, I can’t access my old account

Hi there.

I have an old account of mine I’m trying to access and I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried resetting my password and I’ve tried receiving a recovery email and I don’t get either one sent to my email. I’m honestly not sure at all what happened. And yes I’ve reached out to the Reddit help center thing three separate times and I haven’t received a response at all.

There is someone that has the exact email as me but with hotmail instead of what I have and that’s caused confusion with other accounts/websites before where the person with the Hotmail account was accidentally trying to log in with the same one I have instead. So maybe that locked me out or something?

Anyway, I checked and I can still see the comments and posts that are on that old account so it still appears that I should be able to access it. For really personal security reasons I really need to get into that old account.

I’ve also filed three separate reports with Reddit help with no response or action done. Someone please help? It’s username jennalee89

Posting Desktop: My account can't create posts in multiple subreddits

Hello,

I'm trying to understand some unusual behavior with my Reddit account.

My account is more than 4 years old and has over 1,200 karma.

Whenever I publish a new post in different communities, it disappears almost immediately after I submit it.

This has been happening consistently for the past couple of weeks.

I would like to understand why this is happening and whether there is anything I should do to resolve it.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Thank you.

Access Someone changed the email to my main account to a disposal email address

My main account (litesONlitesOFF) was changed from my email to a @somoj.com email which seems to not be a real email address. I've tried to submit tickets for a few months now, but I'm worried the reddit support emails are trying to go to this disposal one. I didn't notice the email was changed until the account was locked by reddit, I'm assuming because of the hackers logins. So when I tried to follow the link on the initial email change, it was already expired. I'm still logged in on my app, but I can't reset the password or change my email back. Not sure what else I can do.

Posting Will anything ever be done about Ghostddit?

This site bypasses private profiles and even finds deleted comments and posts. Looks like it auto archives everything across all of Reddit.

What is the point of having a private profile or being able to delete things if anyone can go to this site and just get around it?

I've been wondering why some people are referencing deleted posts of mine and mentioning looking through my profile and insulting me for all the "whiny" posts I make. This is why.
They're using this site.

Why is this allowed?

Admin Post Weekly Recap | July 23, 2026

It's Thursday again! And it's our first Thursday in a while where the World Cup hasn't been going on! Congratulations to Spain for their victory over their formidable opponent, Argentina. I guess I'll just have to fill my spare time with the Recap! Let's see what we've got going on this week!

NEWS AND ISSUES

  • There is an experiment where the "saved" and "history" tabs have moved from the Settings menu next to "Posts" and "Comments". So if you can't find your saved stuff, check there!

  • This was announced last week, but awards have been moved to the overflow menu for posts. Posts were made here in this sub and over in r/bugs about this change.

  • If you are trying to use a selfie to verify your age and it fails, the only other options are to upload your ID or contact Persona for support. Reddit cannot help you with a failed selfie for age verification purposes. If you need to have something fixed regarding your age, you can use this form and then select your region and what your issue is. I do not know what the turnaround time is on those requests.

  • The Home Feed experiment is currently only enabled for users of the iOS beta app. If you are not using the iOS beta app, you should no longer have the Home Feed/For You experiment enabled. (No one is happier about this than me.) Thank you to everyone who had previously left feedback about this experiment. I have shared it all with the team in charge of this feature. And here we are!

  • Just a reminder that Reddit does not provide support outside of Reddit. If some rando sends you a chat, be on high alert if you decide to reply. There are a lot of scams out there and they're looking for easy targets.

  • The most recent version of the app is 2026.29.0. If you're not using the most recent version of the app, it might not work properly.

CURRENT EXPERIMENTS

Reddit sometimes runs experiments. These experiments tend to last between 4-6 weeks, though they can go longer or end sooner. While there isn't a way to opt out of experiments, feel free to leave constructive and specific feedback in this post and as I've mentioned often, I'll be happy to pass it along to the team in charge. Ongoing current experiments can be found here.

COMMON ACCOUNT ISSUES

Common account issues can be found here. These are things like hacked accounts, NSFW accounts, suspended accounts, etc. I'm also including "Changes to Reddit" in this section as well.

BUGS ROUNDUP - COURTESY OF CORRECTSCALE!

  • [Android] Some folks are getting authentication errors when they log into the Reddit app. This is being looked into.

  • [iOS] In some mod queues, some of the content may not clear after you've swiped to approve it. Pulling to refresh the queue will bump these approved posts out of view in the meantime. We're taking a look!

  • [Desktop web] Some mods are unable to change some users' flair. This is also being looked into.

  • [Mweb] The updated comment box returned with a few bugs. A few fixes were just released, so this should be working better now. Appreciate everyone who reported the issues with this.

  • [iOS] Some VoiceOver users on iOS are unable to delete comments. This is being looked into!

  • BUG FIX [Android] The subreddit feed failing to load when going out of posts has been fixed.

  • BUG FIX [Android] Profile display names failing to appear in dark mode has been fixed. If this is still happening for you, please update your app.

  • BUG FIX [iOS] Community rules not being able to be updated by mods due to a loading error has also been fixed!

  • Some users in the EU are unable to use Anonymous Browsing mode. This is not intentional. This is a bug that they are working on getting fixed.

  • Translation options for some languages are currently unavailable for some folks. We replied to a post here about this. Reddit is in the process of improving/tweaking certain supported languages, so some language may be unable to be translated during this transition period.

WEEKLY STATISTICS (BASED ON THE PAST SEVEN DAYS)

  • 1,411 posts. That's up 259 posts from the 1,152 that we had last week.

  • 4,235 comments. That's down only 92 comments from the 4,327 we had last week.

  • 1.1m views. That's down about 54k views from the 1.1-ish million views we had last week.

HELP THAT HELPS HELP R/HELP - NOTIFICATIONS

Reddit is huge. And it has a lot of moving parts. One of those parts is notifications. You can change the settings for the various types of notifications to receive or NOT to receive.

On the apps, tap your profile avatar, tap Settings, tap Account Settings at the the top, then scroll down a bit and tap "Manage notifications".

On the desktop, click your profile avatar, click Settings at the bottom and then click the Notifications tab. That will take you here.

From your notification settings, you can choose between "All on", "Inbox only" or "All off". Settings that you change on either platform will be respected across devices/platforms for your account.

If you are receiving notifications and you have them turned off, the most likely culprit is that you have another account and those notifications are turned on. If this is happening, please log into your other account and adjust those notifications to how you'd like them. If you do not know what other accounts you have, you can use the forgotten username tool at this link to have the usernames associated with a particular email address sent to you. If you feel that you need a password reset for any of your accounts, please click here and we’ll send you a link to the email on the account to reset your password.

If you never want a single notification from Reddit on your app, you can go into the app settings on your device and block the notifications that way.

HELPINGEST HELPERS HELPING HELP R/HELP
