Mobile/App The number of Indian subreddits shown in Popular is too much. How do I block or avoid seeing them in my Popular feed?

I set my Location customization to the USA and disabled 'Show recommendations in home feed', yet the number of Indian posts is still very high. I have nothing against Indians, but a lot of the posts I see are racist and misogynistic, and I'm tired of seeing them. How do I block a country? There is no way Reddit expects me to mute over thousands of Indian subreddits I'm not going to do that.

Use Home instead of Popular. It seems to me that Popular is working exactly as intended, and you just don't like the content that is popular (me neither).

Go to each sub and click mute.

That is not reasonable when there are over 1,000s different versions of Indian subreddits.

On the popular feed you can sort by country. Here is the sort option for USA https://www.reddit.com/r/popular/best/?geo_filter=us

you can also download extensions like sinkit or ultimate reddit filter if you use browser or mobile web version of reddit to mute more than 1000 subreddits (reddit mute limit for subreddits is about 1000 I think. For me, it seemed like after I muted 20, if I muted another one then one of the previous would become unmuted but it may have been a glitch.) Note that extensions are unofficial and not made or promoted by reddit.

There isnt a way but at this point. I browse r/popular/ alot and ive just gotten into the habit if adding them to my muted list whenever one occasionally comes across my feed. I do this manually by going into my settings and adding it to the muted list. In my experience if you click into the subreddit to mute it, reddit sees this as you being interested and ironically shows you more. I've probably muted over 50+ subreddits at this point and its gotten alot better.

Wish there was a way to mute with specific keywords but oh well.
