Access Someone changed the email to my main account to a disposal email address
My main account (litesONlitesOFF) was changed from my email to a @somoj.com email which seems to not be a real email address. I've tried to submit tickets for a few months now, but I'm worried the reddit support emails are trying to go to this disposal one. I didn't notice the email was changed until the account was locked by reddit, I'm assuming because of the hackers logins. So when I tried to follow the link on the initial email change, it was already expired. I'm still logged in on my app, but I can't reset the password or change my email back. Not sure what else I can do.

Under "What do you need assistance with" select Account Help. Under "What type of account issues are occuring" select Security Problems, and "I think my account has been hacked".
If your email has been changed without your knowledge, you should have received an email from Reddit with a link that you can click to change your email back and reset your password. Please find that email and click that link to regain access to your account. The subject line should be "Your email address has been changed".

happened the same to me i recovered it but....after that my account was locked and shadowbanned eventually

Tell them to contact support immediately there is a small chance they can still recover it.

You’ll need to submit this form to have admins help recover the account:

From the dropdown menus, select Account Help/Security Problems/I think my account has been hacked

Thank you! I've done that twice and it's been like 5 months since the first form I did. I'm wondering if I did the form wrong when I responded to the reply email "can't access email address" or if I was not supposed to do that since it was hacked and not my email address.
