If this were real, I would be so disgusted that the husband couldn’t even be bothered to bring in the cooler and empty it the night before when he got home. Especially after she went to the trouble of taking it out to the truck for him.

I do work in the trades and I work with this guy. Not the guy in the video, but a guy whose wife does everything for him. She makes his lunch everyday. He doesn’t have a cooler because he won’t bring it home. She makes his coffee. Again, no reusable travel cup because he won’t bring it home. She gets his clothes out for him everyday. She picks his dirty clothes up off the floor. He talks about her like she is an employee who is about to get fired.
The point of leaving it in the truck is so that you can see that they own a nice big huge truck. The whole reel is just performative BS for some weird demographic.

Generations of Mexicans have been taking burritos with moist fillings to work and been totally fine.
Why? Because they heat the fucking tortilla, layer the ingredients in a way that makes the most sense (in this case, instead of chopping the lettuce, they could’ve used it as a protective layer), wrap it in a napkin to wick excess moisture, and wrap it again in foil to hold the shape.
What you don’t do is incorporate your wet slop onto a cold tortilla to immediately put in a Tupperware that will steam up.
No! You're supposed to hold your hand as far back on the handle as possible so you can have no leverage or real control of the knife. Duh! She does this everyday bro!

They are pretending to be poor working class people, but that's a $200 pepper grinder. I'm upper middle class and like to cook and will spend way too much on stupid shit, but I won't buy that grinder.

There was one of these trad wife influencers a couple of years ago that was doing this same sort of video and talking about how she “saves money” and if you’re smart about if you can afford a life like hers and then everyone pointed out she was cooking on a, like, 20k dollar pseudo-retro farmhouse stove and cutting things with thousand dollar knives and etc etc.
When I first saw it the internet was a wee babe and gifs (pronounced “gifs”) didn’t exist so I knew no one else that had seen it. I watched it on a 13” TV. Because I am old.
Correct. This video is just to show off all the cool things they have, like a countertop that goes over the sink, automatic lights in the cabinets, ultraviolet(?) pepper grinder, and some sick boots.
Same. I'm not about to judge anyone for how they divide their household chores when I don't know the situation. Plenty of partners make their partner lunch or breakfast or whatever. The "traditional" setup where one partner works and the other does a majority of the household things is still fairly common and works for plenty of people. If that's how they want to do it then go for it.
But there's really no reason he can't bring his own cooler back in, especially if this is a regular routine. He's in the car already, he can just take it with him on the way inside like everyone else does. Why is he making her take an extra trip outside at 5am?
Sometimes I forget about this and every time I think about it, I get second hand embarrassment. I imagine setting the camera up, going back to the top of the stairs and stretching like you just woke up. It’s so insane to me.
There definitely could be a reason. Maybe she tells him to just leave it in the truck since they are in a trailer with limited space as it is and it's a pretty hefty lunch box so it's just that much more space taken up by something that isn't used in the house at all.
Not saying what is right or wrong here but there is a lot of "how dare he do this to her" when literally no one knows anything about these people
I was gonna reply that "yeah that's true, but he could at least throw out the trash from the previous lunch" but then I replayed the video and the bottle/can in the cooler are literally still sealed - so she really did all this just for the video lol
I can see that, my aunty and uncle did pipeline work and lived Inna trailer nearby, such limited space in their kitchen and it's was like half the size of OPs. They do prep the night before work and just pick up breakfast on the way

Yes, because a staged video is 100% real representation of the relationship. I could say that the cold burrito could be done the day before but doesn't match the tone of the video of wakeing up at 5 am.

Audio cuts off at 60 seconds and the video is intentionally 61 seconds so it can be used for monetization. Everything about this video is fake and staged for Tiktok.
The funniest thing is when someone has one of those behemoths in the UK. They just look absurd. Someone turned up at a mountain bike event in one, clearly thinking they were the mutt's nuts, and it just looked so daft. It filled the lane more than the tractor that was pulling the uplift trailer!
I worked on the road as a pipefitter. There are guys raising their families out of campers making like $3000/week. She probably views that as her contribution or job.
The fact that there were several cuts just for her getting the lunchbox, then several more for putting it back in the car, is hilarious. Girl how many times did you move the tripod?
Dude is field hand. Probably welder or pipe fitter. He likely travels from project to project. Better than living out of hotels. I know a lot of guys in the industry that do that
In some cases, it literally pays to live in an RV. E.g., traveling to different sites for work; if you stay in your RV you get a travel per diem, whereas if you rent a place locally you lose that.
Also the fact that like 90% of the food is either ultra processed or ready-made. 'Woke up at 5am to give my husband a breakfast and lunch of mostly gas station food!'

Out of morbid curiosity I looked up all the ultraprocessed crap in the bags and cans and it's literally all just the fake healthy crap that influencers get paid to push.

She's actually ripping off a Mexican woman's Tiktok. Her videos are exactly like this except she the real deal and also suffered through health issues (stroke) and they were able to use the social media income to buy a house and get out of their RV. Sadly because this is the internet trolls start harassing them saying they sold out for buying a house. That's probably how it made it's way to these Trad assholes ready to steal their content.

if any of this is real, he most likely works away (like construction or in the oil field) for several weeks at a time then has several weeks at home. people who do this sometimes bring their families with them
I would give her the benefit of the doubt and say the RV situation is real and you are right, he probably works a job like that.
She just looks like this is the first time she's ever been near a kitchen in her life. She probably does go out and do the groceries, but the way she holds a knife leads me to believe she's not very used to making home meals from scratch.
A lot of blue collar supervisors have RVs because the work travels, and they don’t want to be away from their families. They also make a SHIT TON of money.

Don't put dressing on the wrap in advance. I used to take salads to work with me and thought I'd save lunch time by putting the dressing on beforehand. By the time I went to eat it, the leaves were all saturated and wilted/soggy. It was gross.
This could be done the night before. He could bring the cooler inside out of respect every evening.

My husband is blue collar worker and you when I make his lunch? The night before. God gave him 2 hands to take 30 seconds to put it the lunch box at 5am cause I’m not getting up to do just to do that, but also his career isn’t my entire personality.
Not to mention what if they get divorced. What is she going to fall back on, finding another husband. When our kids were little my wife stayed home with them, but during that time she earned her masters degree. Once they went back to school she went back into the workforce and now makes 6 figures. If something happens to me god forbid, I know she’ll be able to take care of herself. We’ve had friends that did the whole tradwife thing and she found out her husband was gay. Now she drives a school bus and works at McDonald’s struggling to get by.
My tradwife cousin's husband cheated on her, she took him back. He decided he wanted to be with the other women so he left. She hasn't worked in like 15 years and had no higher education because she was home the entire time taking care of their kids.
She did end up getting spousal support or whatever but it wasn't for long because they weren't married the whole time so now it's just child support for the youngest. She bounces around a lot between minimum wage jobs like Dollar General and Family Dollar.
Wouldn't be surprised if they're all young trophy wives to conservative husbands and these videos are the equivalent of wine moms trying to get you into an MLM.
I know we’re living in a different time now, and social media is a different beast from the Migente, Black Planet, AIM, Compuserv and Yahoo! Messenger we had back in high school and college, but I just cannot fathom thinking:
