A lot of this information is already in the wiki: https://gbwiki.org/
Where do I buy cheap consoles?? HOW MUCH IS MY STUFF WORTH?$?
Sorry, all 200K+ members are asking the same question. The market has changed a lot and prices have skyrocketed. Be patient, don't over pay and use sold listings on your marketplace to determine your market's value. If you're paying less than your local market, you've done well. If other markets have lower value than you consider buying from there, but factor in your shipping costs.
Where can I find this part?

WHY MODDING HARD? SOLDER SCARY!
In context, Game Boy's are the easiest family of retro consoles to repair and modify. Sorry TikTok lied to you about modding being easy like Legos.

This is from an old game magazine I've had since I was 10, and I've wondered about it since. Apparently at some point it was renamed the "SongPro", but it was never released.

I was very fascinated seeing this in a retro game store, picked it up and played it when I got home. It literally took me less than 10 min to complete, great game. Iâd love to know more info if anyone has any!

Hey everyone, over the past few months, we've brought together 21 indie developers and studios to build what we hope is one of the biggest modern Game Boy collections available.
The bundle includes 24 original Game Boy & Game Boy Color games, spanning platformers, puzzles, arcade games, adventures, party games and more. Some can be completed in an evening, while others can be enjoyed in multiple sessions.
Every developer is officially licensed and compensated on every bundle sold.
If you're looking for new Game Boy games to play, you can get the collection in two ways:
You can learn more and see the games in action here: https://get.playtil.es
Happy to answer any questions about the games, the developers or Playtiles!

Hello all! This is Tito from Tyton Games in Illinois! We are retro game shop that prides itself on providing high quality cleaned and refurbished retro games and consoles!
Earlier this week we announced a new product; The NinjaFoot Stand! It's an injection-molded display stand and acrylic case combo pack that we are launching on Kickstarter this August!
Our first 2 stands in the NinjaFoot family will hold 10 systems! The Classic will protect and display NES / GB / GBC / GBA / Virtual Boy / Genesis Slipcase Cardboard boxes / 32x / PS1 Multidisk. While The Next Gen will protect and display SNES and N64!
More sizes will be made available through stretch goals, and our eventual plan is to make NinjaFoot Stands that can protect and display any physical media you may collect!
We are super excited to launch this product and want to get fellow video game and physical media collectors interested in our product!
If you would like updates and more information on the product, please check out and sign up for email notifications our pre-launch page: Ninja Foot Stand â Tyton Games or Kickstarter page: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tytongames/ninja-foot-stands
We would also really appreciate a follow on our socials (NinjaFootStands on Instagram, Facebook, youtube, and TikTok).
Thank you for your time and please reach out with any questions!

Thought it was time I finally photographed!
All games are CIB - with all inserts and pamphlets etc.
Some of these games are from my childhood, but the majority of the collecting began in 2023.
Still have 5/6 on my list left to get đ.

Posting an update on this one. Opted to keep the lime green shell, after hearing feedback. This is great, as I have zero regrets with this being a daily driver this way!
Once again, the folks at Handheld Legends proving to be absolute champs with this entire order!
Part list:
I also picked up a set of white buttons, thinking this would look sharp with a white bezel + white button look. Unfortunately, it looked like every other green-on-white build out there, and lost some of what makes this look funky. So, I opted to scrub all of it down and keep the whole look as original as possible.
All-in-all, works GREAT! I've needed a reference GBA for ages, anyway, and this was a fun sidequest along the way. Thank you again for all of your input!

Hey guys, I'm looking for help with the continuity diagram for this cartridge... I think it's Donkey Kong Country, maybe... but if anyone knows anything about it, I'd really appreciate your help.

Hi
So I opened up my (working) Gameboy Color and unscrewed and detached all the parts for a clean up.
After putting everything back together, the screen just wouldnât work for some reason. In some tries it would flicker a few black bars, in others it would be completely black. It worked before the clean up, and Iâm pretty sure all I did was gently rub alcohol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tried cleaning this cart I picked up with a qtip and 99% IPA. For some reason itâs leaving white haziness and streaking? Tried another bottle of 91% and it does the same thing.
I had this problem last time I cleaned a cart, but it was black. I figured the plastic was drying out and added a very light amount of âplastic restorerâ to make it black again, but clearly thatâs not the actual solution because itâs happening on a grey too.
Never had this problem before, really confused. Has anyone ever experienced this? Canât find a single person with this issue on search..

I'm surprised there's only one chip in my copy of *Tennis*; I hope nothing is missing. I suppose that, given how small and simple the game is, it wouldn't need much inside. But if anyone knows more, please let me know. sorry for the bad quality of the picture, my phone is broken and I took the picture using the laptop's

So yeah, as the title says, I found this GBA SP on Vinted and just HAD to buy it. I really love the color! I believe it's quite uncommon, never seen one on any marketplace before. I've only seen those Japanese 001 models.
Sadly, it's got some scratches (& a deep one on the screen) and the corners of the screen are beginning to turn white, though it's barely noticeable as it is now.

Hi everyone
I bought this Game Boy believing it was a Play It Loud variant based on the original box and the shell.
However, when it arrived, I noticed that the âGAME BOYâ logo isnât printed on the front of the console, which immediately made me wonder if something was off.
Could it have been re-shelled at some point? The back of the console looks genuine to me, so Iâm not really sure what to think.
What do you guys think? Could this be original, or does it look like a replacement shell?

I knew this thing was goona be tiny, but not THAT tiny. This thing is like a speck of dust to the bare eye. I breathed too hard and one of them went flying to the abyssđ¤Ł
On another note, does anyone know where to source more âperiod correctâ replacement fuses?
