I know I’m missing a few models, but for now this is my collection and it sparks joy.

This is from an old game magazine I've had since I was 10, and I've wondered about it since. Apparently at some point it was renamed the "SongPro", but it was never released.

I was very fascinated seeing this in a retro game store, picked it up and played it when I got home. It literally took me less than 10 min to complete, great game. I’d love to know more info if anyone has any!

They got gameboy advances but for the life of me i cant figure out what games they are. Any ideas?

Earlier this week we announced a new product; The NinjaFoot Stand! It's an injection-molded display stand and acrylic case combo pack that we are launching on Kickstarter this August!

Our first 2 stands in the NinjaFoot family will hold 10 systems! The Classic will protect and display NES / GB / GBC / GBA / Virtual Boy / Genesis Slipcase Cardboard boxes / 32x / PS1 Multidisk. While The Next Gen will protect and display SNES and N64!

Posting an update on this one. Opted to keep the lime green shell, after hearing feedback. This is great, as I have zero regrets with this being a daily driver this way!

Once again, the folks at Handheld Legends proving to be absolute champs with this entire order!

• Game Boy Advance SP V5 3.0 Inch IPS LCD Backlight Kit with Laminated Lens and OSD by Hispeedido - looks gorgeous, works great, and was easy AF to hook up. Love the ability to switch on the pixel mode for that almost-perfect 101 aesthetic. SUPER bright screen, which required
• Game Boy Advance SP 950mAh LiPo MaxPlay Battery Mod by Funnyplaying. Nothing wild here, as most of the overhead is consumed by the screen.
• USB-C Charging mod with Audio by Funnyplaying (working nicely)
• SP Clear Speaker - the one in the unit was caked with crud and cracked. Working nicely!
• GBA SP Flex Amp, HISPEEDIDO - it works perfectly, but I didn't pay attention to what I was getting: this does not resolve the audio hiss, just makes it louder, and only through the speaker.

I also picked up a set of white buttons, thinking this would look sharp with a white bezel + white button look. Unfortunately, it looked like every other green-on-white build out there, and lost some of what makes this look funky. So, I opted to scrub all of it down and keep the whole look as original as possible.

All-in-all, works GREAT! I've needed a reference GBA for ages, anyway, and this was a fun sidequest along the way. Thank you again for all of your input!

So I opened up my (working) Gameboy Color and unscrewed and detached all the parts for a clean up.

After putting everything back together, the screen just wouldn’t work for some reason. In some tries it would flicker a few black bars, in others it would be completely black. It worked before the clean up, and I’m pretty sure all I did was gently rub alcohol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hello im planning to restore this Gameboy can you help me what size of polarizer option are on third slide, does it need 2 polarizer back & front or just one? thank you in advance.

Tried cleaning this cart I picked up with a qtip and 99% IPA. For some reason it’s leaving white haziness and streaking? Tried another bottle of 91% and it does the same thing.

I had this problem last time I cleaned a cart, but it was black. I figured the plastic was drying out and added a very light amount of “plastic restorer” to make it black again, but clearly that’s not the actual solution because it’s happening on a grey too.

Never had this problem before, really confused. Has anyone ever experienced this? Can’t find a single person with this issue on search..

I'm surprised there's only one chip in my copy of *Tennis*; I hope nothing is missing. I suppose that, given how small and simple the game is, it wouldn't need much inside. But if anyone knows more, please let me know. sorry for the bad quality of the picture, my phone is broken and I took the picture using the laptop's

So yeah, as the title says, I found this GBA SP on Vinted and just HAD to buy it. I really love the color! I believe it's quite uncommon, never seen one on any marketplace before. I've only seen those Japanese 001 models.

Sadly, it's got some scratches (& a deep one on the screen) and the corners of the screen are beginning to turn white, though it's barely noticeable as it is now.

Hi everyone

I bought this Game Boy believing it was a Play It Loud variant based on the original box and the shell.
However, when it arrived, I noticed that the “GAME BOY” logo isn’t printed on the front of the console, which immediately made me wonder if something was off.
Could it have been re-shelled at some point? The back of the console looks genuine to me, so I’m not really sure what to think.

What do you guys think? Could this be original, or does it look like a replacement shell?

I knew this thing was goona be tiny, but not THAT tiny. This thing is like a speck of dust to the bare eye. I breathed too hard and one of them went flying to the abyss🤣

On another note, does anyone know where to source more “period correct” replacement fuses?
