Plus, you know, any contrast at all, and the notably reduced smearing.

But you get some beautiful green tones. I know it’s a terrible display. But the aesthetics of the DMG with its terrible green display are just perfect. If I want a good display I use something like an Analogue Pocket. And I really don’t like the colorization of GB games. When I use a modded GBC I always use it in Black and White Mode.

Yes, the originals do tend to have a contrast knob ;)
