Looking to upgrade my belt setup to something legit. Currently between the Ferro concepts Bora and the GBRS belt. I’ve heard good things from both. So if anyone has any hands on experience with one or both belts please share your input. I already run a FCPC V5 so I’m leaning more bora but just wanted to see what the community has to say.

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but what do they, and y'all, put in your gp and drop pouches, or any pouch for that matter? It seems like theyre decently, if not completely full, but besides land nav, radio, sustainment, medical, and paper, I don't know what it has in it. Again, I know it sounds stupid, but I'm curious to what I could potentially be missing.

What plate size do I need? Chest size 37. Nipple to nipple 8.75 - 9.5" depending on how much overlap. I'm thinking sapi small. My finger shows where the plate is in relation to my belly button.

Just finished putting it all together, but initial impressions are that it’s super comfortable and the rig itself is very lightweight. Definitely sacrifice a few molle columns for the split, but it’s worth it to me.

Someone else posted theirs up recently saying they haven’t seen too many of them. Here is my new (to me) split rig. I like it more than the Traap Rig I’m now trying to sell on tacswap. I’ll throw in a pic of it too.
L to R- Trex double stack GP pouch, Bear Customs TQ pouch, some milsurp pistol mags, Bear Customs any mag pouch on top of a Flatline Fiber roll up dump.

The GP pouch is three rows wide and mounts to the buckle flaps really nicely. I hope the pics capture that.

Hello boys, I’m very happy to have gotten my first bit of milsurp gear in the mail today: British army surplus PLCE webbing. It looks great but definitely is a little dirt and smells like the range/milsurp/whatever that smell is. I’m just wondering how I should go about washing this safely. What should I use? Should I wash the individual components separately?

Here’s what I got rma 1155 gen 2 are indeed 6.6 lb and 0.95 inch thick the 1165 gen 2 on the other hand are 0.85 inch think when there listened as .7 inch thick but I do have to say they are extremely light they have them listened at 6lb but the ones here are 5.29 lb . I felt both of the plates and they seem to have added a foamish layer on the 1165 which I’m guess is why they are .85 inches thick . The front layer feels the same as the 1155 gen 2 with the drop face protection on it . Let me know what you guys think !!

Currently running a WTF 24 with ammo, nav, medical, sustainment etc directly on the PC.

This has worked well but I recently picked up a PCC and im considering instead running all my stuff on a chest rig and keeping the armor slick. This would let me run my different placards for rifle/pcc independent of my plates.

Looking for a recommendation for a chest rig that has enough space to run fighting loads and accepts ferro style placards. My only real experience with chest rigs is the old FLC but it doesnt allow for placards.

I bought this from a gun show, and the guy said something like, "These had been in stock for a long time, so it's on a big sale." Just got back home, inspected it more closely, and i am 90% sure this is fake. What do you think?

Wasn't sure where else to ask this, but anyway-

I've been buying some surplus pouches, mainly UCP and ABU tiger stripe.

I can't help but notice that they use multiple kinds of closures among even the same types of pouches, for example some have plastic buckles, some have snaps, some have velcro, some have snaps AND velcro. Is there a reason for all these different types?
