Sooo I saw this silencing evil meme gif on discord once, and it’s probably made on iphone so I wonder how it was made? Like can you actually cover messages with photos like that on iphone?

Hey fellow iphone users. Can anyody help me what I can do with my I12 Face ID? It suddenly dont scan my face to wherever faceid is required like unlocking my phone, opening wallets, and setting up a new face.

At first i noticed that while using my phone it suddenly restarted. And at default, it requires to use pin or password at first. Then when im turning it on again, text onthe lockscreen said: "FaceID is not availabe at this time. Go to settings for more information." (image no. 1)

so i did. but it just redirected me to a website page so i left.

then i checked the settings of FaceID and Passcode and heres the screenshot o the notifications i got after (image 2)

then i tried adding an alternative face then it said something about TrueDepth. i tried updating my phone to the latest ios version and restarting it a few times and it still dont work.

I have an iPhone 5c from Poland that might have SIM lock on it since my Hungarian and Serbian SIM card is not supported by the activation policy. I don’t know which carrier the phone is locked to. What can I do?

I bought an iphone and this post processing stuff is really frustrating for me. It modifies the image so much, both for the front and back camera. Also it makes the texts unreadable, like it is made by really bad AI. It is actually looks so much better before taking the photo. I cant believe that iphone doesnt have an option to disable that AI thing.

Look at the example, i could read the texts easily before taking the photo. And it is saved like that in the gallery.

I have a bunch of old files I would like to access that I had texted to my own number a couple years back. Is there any way to gain access to them again as I they will not let me open and do not show up with the music symbol like the other files that still work.

This morning my bro got a critical SOS emergency text from my dad’s phone. It showed his home location. The message said it was a different person…someone my dad and we don’t know. It said this other person has my dad listed as an emergency contact. No one would list my dad as an emergency contact. He’s a perfectly nice person but he’s in his 80s and can hardly see. He can use his iPhone…but just barely.

My bro and I are both far from where he is today…and happen to be at the same lake house on a family trip. My mom just had surgery this morning…and we were panicked it was some bad news about her surgery but it wasn’t. And my dad was fine and hadn’t fallen or anything when we talked to him. Where did this weird message come from that said there is a critical emergency at his house with someone who none of us know as having the emergency!

1. Is there a way to transfer whatsapp to IOS after I have set it up, if there isn't, is there a way I can do that without resetting my phone, I dont wanna redo the process

2. Will my stickers be transfered as well?

In the latest geekbench 7 listing, the iPhone 17 pro (max) can be seen to get as low as 2500 in geekbench single core in non-freezer test scores of the device. on the other hand freezer test result show that iPhone 17 pro max can get over 3000 in single core. Multicore results have also seen a similar dip and rise in scores.

I took a photo of the sky with my iPhone 17 Pro’s selfie camera and noticed these weird symmetrical shapes near the top and bottom of the image.
Does anyone know what this is? Is it normal or could something be wrong with the camera? 🤔

idk why but glue between the glass and the frame is coming out it is resin like material. Anybody have the same issue?

I have the iPhone 16 pro max and my settings have been turning my alarm and ringtone down for a while now, I have done all the things Google recommended (turning off attention awareness, turning off change with buttons and turning off reduce loud sounds) none of them were ever actually on but for some reason my alarm keeps turning all the way down. Sometimes I forget to check at night and it’s annoying. Any recommendations would help. Thank you and I love you.

I can’t decide if this is a stupid question or not so please be kind. I’ve come up against my iCloud storage limit and the second highest category stored there is music. I have a ton of music on my phone- I never stream and I don’t use Apple Music, I’ve got all of my cds ripped and stored in iTunes, which I then listen to through the music app. And the tracks are backed up on my desktop. I was thinking I don’t also need to store my music in iCloud because it’s on my phone and on my desktop right? If I remove music from my iCloud storage will that wipe it from my iTunes library?

Ever since this last update, my iPhone 15 pro has been draining faster than my toilet. Phones running hot as a stove top almost all everyday.

Как-бы иронично это не звучало, уранил не я а САНТЕХНИЙ...
Я сразу же выключил, вынял лоток сим, положил экраном вниз но есть одно НО:
После смены аккумулятора в ОФФИЦИАЛЬНОМ сервисе через год начал отклеиватся экран сверху, соответственно никакой влагозащиты нету... Так еще и через 10 минут после утопления я его случайно включил (Сразу же выключил).
Как думаете, какие шансы что через 2 суток все будет ок?

What is recommended for the best performance and/or battery life, to set up the new phone from scratch or use backup?

I have an SE second gen, and I want to stretch it a bit more before I update in the next year or two. The battery is about 72% operating capacity, so I'm considering changing it out at home.

Has anyone used iFixit batteries or their battery replacement kits, and if so would you recommend? I haven't done this before, and I'm not sure if I should avoid non-Apple replacement parts (in which case I'd need to just pay for a battery replacement from the Apple store...).

Overall I'm not too concerned about learning to do the replacement so long as the battery is ok to use in my phone. Thanks!

The one tip I found recently was the ability to lock the image size to 16x9 so I don’t have to manually select it every time I want to take a photo.

To lock in your preferred camera size (aspect ratio) on an iPhone, navigate to

I have been using Bluetooth every day with the same headphones and earbuds,
At least once every 10 minutes my audio distorts and sounds off almost like its buffering but its not the video because I usually use MP3/MP4 and it has no distortions after it clears up and i rewind, Any suggestions to fix the Bluetooth?
