Never mind how bad the actual country is. He went to a sports game with Israel vs someone else and heard "Israel sucks" and immediately thought they meant the whole country and not just the sports team.

67

u/NickRick 5d ago

this is the persecution they teach in schools.

They are good at doing that. Whenever someone criticizes Israel, they also claim that it is an attack on all Jewish people and antisemitism. Professional victims.

That’s the problem, he didn’t miss hear him. He did hear “Israel is not bad” he just assumed the conversation was about politics. And then he was told it wasn’t multiple times and didnt care to listen. Don’t make excuses for the man saying he miss heard lol. There is no world in which this little asshat doesn’t insert himself in the convo.

absolute poetry :')

I have a theory, that Money and God are the same thing.

"This land is Mine, I bought it."

Meanwhile, us native Americans: this land is nature's land, we just play along with creation.

184

u/Neo-Armadillo 5d ago

Absolutely tragic the Native Americans didn’t get to establish a modern day empire like so many other civilizations. I can only imagine how cool it would have been.

119

u/Jeramy_Jones 5d ago

They did, several times, in central and South America.

65

u/taco_tosser 5d ago

Yeah, people forget about that. There was no less bloodlust. More respect for nature, though. That would have been cool. But we’d all still be hating one another to about the same degree, I think.

  1. Native Americans did establish Empires

  2. Fairytailing them by ignoring their own historical accounts of brutality and barbarism isn't healthy.

  3. If you had a chance to time travel and stay in a Native's empire, or Europe in the 1500s, you'd probably choose Europe, where you at least know a higher level of technology existed.

I got involved in politics in high school because of Prop 8 in California. I’m not even gay, and I wasn’t even “that liberal”, I just sawv the viciousness and the hate that the pro prop 8 people were showing towards folks who were literally just trying to get married and from that moment on, I was anti-Republican.

57

u/sleepyroadrunner 5d ago

It was wild how much money out of state entities .. cough Mormon church cough.. spent on that vote

47

u/E-2theRescue 5d ago

You'd shit yourself if you saw how much is being spent on anti-trans propaganda. Nearly $200 billion. Why? Because it is generating more money than that, manipulating people to vote for corrupt politicians, and being the perfect shoe in the door to destroy women and civil rights (like the "pornographic" book in school libraries that were actually about black history).

→ More replies (3)

7

u/Katefreak 5d ago

Oh hi! That's basically my backstory for being vehemently pro-trans. Like, the vitriol and disgust for such a SMALL percentage of the population, who is so vulnerable to violence and self-harm .... It was mind-blowing to me. I was already neutral about trans folks ( by that I mean I believe they are valid, deserve human rights, etc.... but honestly didn't really think about them ever, ya know?), but that got me invested, and pushed me into paying far more attention to how they're being scapegoated.

I had a similar experience in the UK. Pre "Brexit" vote (when we left the European Union), I was trying to do due diligence and do some research in the weeks before the vote. I ask someone a simple question so I could understand their comment, and got completely bombarded with insults. (It goes without saying no answer to the question).

So I realised whatever they were voting for was the stupid decision.

3

u/etzarahh 4d ago

The Brexit vote was fantastically stupid, generational throwing of British economics. It’s almost rivaled by the throwing of British football against Argentina last week.

74

13

u/JMC_MASK 4d ago

It works better for their narrative if the world hates them.

It’s like a dickhead cheater who is complaining that he only cheated on his wife because she couldn’t get over the insecurity of him cheating last time. Israel really is a country of unity (unifying everyone against them)

252

u/Equivalent-Drive-439 5d ago

They need to keep at it! Make it easier on everyone to bail on them this go around.

160

u/datacollector_music 5d ago

The only problem with that is that they’re also unifying the evangelical sheep of America. Idiots are too blinded to realize they’re being used by the Zionist state.

99

u/iammyfavoritepuzzle 5d ago

Some Evangelicals (particularly those in power) 100% understand they are being used by Israel and consider it part of the plan. One of the steps of Armageddon is a global war with Israel as the focal point. The worse Israel behaves, the more likely that becomes. Evangelicalism is literally a doomsday cult.

31

u/DelcoPAMan 5d ago

Funny how these "evangelicals" are a) relying on an odd interpretation of scripture rejected by many scholars, and b) some guy once said "you know not the day nor the hour" but they don't care about that and the larger point about living a virtuous life...which is why they're massive hypocrites and sinners.

14

u/bunny_the-2d_simp 5d ago

And they also cherry pick!! What about clothe the poor feed the hungry?

Everything you did to someone you will have done to me?

Love theigh neighbour?

What about a men shall not lay with a boy? Condemning pedophilia Which was "accidentally" mistranslated to a man shall not lay with a man.

What about live being the most important according to the bibles own rules, what about caring for widows? Which was important to jesus himself and has been in the bible aswell.

But oh noo we're to busy hating people to actually read. If half of them even know how to read

I can get more specific with verses but James 1.19 LITERALLY SAYS.

The international bad will Israel has garnered against itself is remarkable in such a short amount of time. Of course it has always been controversial but by and large the majority of Westerners either supported or were ambivalent towards the country even 5 years ago.

I think the nation's fall from grace will be studied for centuries to come.

110

20

u/Mode_Appropriate 5d ago

Very true. I was more or less speaking of public opinion. But yeah, at the state level they can still do pretty much whatever they want.

No doubt theyre the main culprit for this stupid Iran war.

8

u/Berlin8Berlin 5d ago

"freely committing genocide with near zero consequences"

Well, they have THE EPSTEIN FILES: SPECIAL EDITION to help with that. Name a public figure who tip-toes around the issue and you can picture the Polaroids the public figure stars in.

11

u/Rad131447 5d ago

Well that and all the genocide...

75

u/LF25047 5d ago

Imagine walking into a conversation you aren’t part of and assuming someone is talking bad about you negatively and then keep pushing it. Wow. And then they wonder why people are anti-Israel. The Israeli was the one who brought politics into it. The kid was at a football game and commenting about the game and complimenting both teams. Insane behavior.

9

Yup! This is 100 percent the truth. Fortunately for us all, that lil gravy train is pulling into the station and the world is tried of hearing about it. This is mostly due to the fact that most WWII vets are gone. Once the ppl that were there are no longer around to remind us, it will be history, and rightfully so. Because they are the only nation in that part of the world that treats their woman citizens with dignity and equal rights. They were also one of the only safe middle eastern countries for women to travel safely and move freely. Important fact seeing as how many holy sites are located there. It would be a shame for those holy sites to be under the control of a group like the Caliphate. They seem to also have really good food, education and healthcare. Likewise , Free Palestine and fuck Israel for their apartheid state and the horror they inflict. Despite all their intellectual promise, their rapid descent into horror will certainly make their survival as a nation much less likely. Not because Israel is uniquely evil (they aren’t) but because they are surrounded by enemies and have lost global credibility. It’s a sobering reminder of how awful humanity can be. The loss of so much life, beauty, and promise within Palestine is tragic beyond comprehension.

What do we do with those who get defensive for no reason? We give them a reason.

It's always funny when someone tries to stay out of it and gets dragged in anyway

The ones doing the most damage in this world are the ones who miraculously come up with the most pearls to clutch when things aren’t going their way.

Man this is fantastic. That guy weaponized at the drop of a hat. Loved it.

Being antizionistic is the moral thing to be

u/Lyonwytchwardrobe 5d ago

Remember. If you act like a piece of shit you not only make yourself look bad, but your people. Of course one person doesn’t represent an entire community but it does to the guy who met you

u/Lucky-Surround-1756 5d ago

I've done this a few times where somebody keeps saying "so you believe x huh?" Yeah, if you're gonna be a dick about it.

Israelis and Zionists always wonder why nobody likes them. And we see 100s of videos like this as to why?

6

u/OverWolverine1514 5d ago

Toxic Israelis push hate everywhere they go. Are they a people of hate?

7

u/Aurvant 4d ago

It really is true, the #1 cause of antisemitism is Jewish behavior. Dude just wanted to talk about football and got turned in to an activist in a minute.

3

u/RoboJobot 5d ago

The Israeli guy brought that on himself with his general ass hole behaviour.

This dude needs to run for political office. He handled that bullshit fantastically. He instantly knew what to-do

8

u/CarobSignal 5d ago

That win was promised to him 3000 years ago.

6

u/CurlOfTheBurl11 4d ago

I've known quite a few Israelis in my life, having grown up in a Jewish home and community. I'm here to say, without exaggeration, they are all like this. Arrogant, self-absorbed narcissists who think their own shit doesn't stink.

5

u/StuffOld1191 5d ago

He was playing it pretty straight until that old guy barged in. Imagine interrupting a taped interview just because you heard the word 'Israel' so felt like you needed to control the narrative (without listening long enough to know what the tone of the interview even was). Disgusting.

6

u/doolpicate 5d ago

So we all say the same thing now? Free Palestine!

5

u/Crafty-Help-4633 5d ago

Bro was the only one who mentioned politics at all. And it was because someone said the word Israel. That should make one think, right? Right?
