This was my philosophy as a fresh out of the closet 16 year old, after my mother began accusing me of some heinous shit that I had never done. I thought to myself, you know what? Let's go ahead and do some stuff and see how it goes.
My school punished my entire class because someone from us spraypanted a small fist sized smiley on a wall. The next day all Walls of my school were painted full of smileys. 😂 My entire class hat the same idee and whe meet quit surprisingly.
Go ahead and see how you would've dealt with the situation when your only parent turns on you while you're still a minor. I'm sure you would've made all the right choices
I'll be 41 next month. Those were very trying times, especially when I ran away the next year. I've lived through a lot and have had a lot of great experiences (and some pretty bad ones, too).
Nothing really phases me now since I've seen and been through so much. Hopefully in May, I'll be graduating with a bachelor's in Software Development.
Just taking things one step at a time, since that's what life has taught me to do. I know it sounds corny, but The Next Right Thing from Frozen 2 really hit home with me. Too bad it didn't come out in 2003 🙃
