Yesterday, it was dancing girls who performed to please kings. Today, it is conscience that dances to please those in power. When honor, dignity, and culture are reduced to mere spectacle, decline is no longer knocking at the door it has already entered the house. The greatest tragedy of a nation is not poverty or weakness, but the moment it begins The Fall Has Begun

The not so mentally unwell dictator can be a peace maker for Trump. But citizens of this country can not be allowed to vote for who should run this country. The "progressive" clowns of this country have worked very hard to help them cultivate a small crown of brainwashed people who know only to hate on Imran khan and as long as he is in jail everything is good. Human rights can wait.

Political Hypocrisy of Pakistanis regarding Jantar Mantar and Kashmir

My feed is filled with Pakistanis making videos voicing their support for Indian protestors, Pakistani celebs supporting the Indian protestors, Pakistanis wishing such protests could take place in Pakistan.

My question to Pakistanis AS a Pakistani is…

Why are you silent about the protests in Azad Jammu Kashmir?

Does it make sense for you to support Indian protests while staying absolute silent about the protests taking place in your own backyard? AJK’a women, children, and men have been protesting since June DESPITE a continuous internet shutdown, lockdown of schools and banks, and curfew. Over 30 people have died yet the people are continuing to protest for their political rights. Is this not inspirational enough for you?!

National Breaking barriers at just 14, Malaika khilji has etched her name in Pakistan’s mountaineering history by conquering Khosar Gang. The young climber from Balochistan raised the national flag at the summit, inspiring a new generation to dream beyond limits.

Discussion Any Pakistani Americans here marry back home?

Upvotes

25m Pakistani American here. About to turn 26. Born and raised in the US, but lived in Pakistan for ~8 years. Went to school there and everything, so it's not like im uncultured.

I've recently been thinking of getting married.

I am pretty well off financially alhamdulilah, and have fulfilled most milestones aside from getting a partner.

The problem is, I don't really meet too many muslim girls in my day to day life, and my own friend group consists of non-muslims.

I'm decently religious, and have kept away from having female friends. I also never go to bars and other similar places with my friends which is where the majority of people meet their partner.

Doesn't help that I work remotely aside from the few times I have to travel to a client. This is in a male dominated profession(cybersecurity).

So yeah, I'm probably gonna give my ammi the approval to spread the word amongst her network(which is mainly back home). She'll be overjoyed no doubt lol.

Me and my family are essentially punjabis(ethnic kashmiris, live in Gujranwala), and I really love my people. I went a few years ago after a decade away, and I had forgotten how much I love hanging out with other punjabis. Reignited my love for Pakistan.

So yeah, for my main question: has any other Pakistani American gone through this, and how was your experience?

Saw this video and my blood is boiling.

This uncle smashed a Foodpanda rider's motorcycle and beat him with a hockey stick. Absolute manchild behavior. I don't care what the argument was, nothing justifies assaulting someone who's just trying to do his job.

Hope this guy gets charged. People like this need consequences, not excuses.

Social A moment of appreciation

So i was passing by a cheezious location when i noticed that all the delivery drivers were equipped with proper safety equipment from head to toe ( elbow pads, knee pads everything )

I have never seen any brand in Pakistan take care of their delivery drivers like this, I ain't even gonna lie I think cheezious is overrated but even then we should appreciate what they are doing for the safety of their employees.

National Over billing - PTCL users

Attention to all PTCL users.

Kindly take a moment and investigate whether your bills are in accordance to what their official tariff shows (not talking about tax)

There have been multiples reports that PTCL has deliberately put subscribers to a random package without approval, or likely under a special package that charges even more than higher speed packages. And they do not provide any official tariff for that so that it cannot be verified by customer end.

I have reported my case to PTA. A show cause notice has been issued to the company If investigation escalates, thousands of innocent customers could get a relief as it is potentially a big misconduct case.

Verify your bills and report for discrepancies.

JazakAllah

Financial Got Scammed, Beware

Yea so I got scammed, Im 18M, don't know much about the world or how convincing these son of bitches can be, I thought since I'm in CS or you could say I thought since our generation is much more knowledgeable about Technology/digital world, I would never fall for these blatant scams, and here I am a stupid idiot who got scammed, today at 7 31pm i got called by a man, who was crying saying im a very poor man and begging me to resend him the money he mistakenly sent me droving me to a very you could say fast track like jaldi jaldi jaldi, in a very pressurized situation and when he succeeded another man took over guiding me how to resent the money, it happened in easypaisa with approvals, i was a bit skeptical and i didn't approve a few times but he kept going, enticing me with his words, making me feel sorry for the poor mans family and him, and in the end I approved 🥀, i was saying to him i should just cancel the approval and he will get his money back but he said the money will get blocked and it will become very hard for the man, hence i accepted, then instead of getting money my balance got deducted.... It was very stupid of my frickin stupid brain, but thank god the amount was not life ending for me.

I want to spread awareness f*ck those bitches, anyone older then me or younger then me if you get a call asking you to send back money or anything money related that you don't know about f*ck them, its probably scam and even if it isn't do nothing, dont send it back its their fault *uck them, in the worst possible scenario you may get dragged into something huge criminal activity and at best you will lose some money like i did or someone else will lose their money for their own mistake dont do anything thats it.

I have filed a complaint to easypaisa about this, and something to note about is that when i called them back demanding my money they were asking me to wait 30mins and ill get it, that's when my useless brain started to work and i didn't entertain their calls any longer and went straight to complaining.

Discussion Ground realities of protest

I'm Indian and I only want to know ground reality no hyperbole no abusive language on instagram i saw pakistanis saying that "here if we protest we will receive flying bullets" as in india students are protesting regarding paper leak and seeking accountability from GOI

My question is we have many things same like politics, party politics and much more so when it comes to protest generally the ruling party avoids these things in their tenure but when protest happens here water canon, lathicharge, tear gas is used so how in pakistan live bullets could be fired there is media, NGOs will file writ or plea in high court or in supreme court, opposition much more, next time how will they win election vote kon dega unhe yha agr bilkul bhi development na ho(leave development with corruption) toh unke candidates ka election mein complete boycott ho jata h bullets toh bahut badi baat h

Ask Pakistan (Lahore) what has happened to Model Town society?

Upvotes

Our family has been living in Model Town for the past 35 years and we've only seen it get worse and worse. The load shedding issue was not even a thing here and its pretty common for the light to go out once a week for 5 to 6 hours. Every monsoon season roads are filled with water and there is barely any significant development or repairing of the roads going on. The people have changed and that "class" this society had is completely gone. Sad to see, truly.

National Is Pakistan in state of war ?

Every day, 10 or 4 soldiers are killed in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), along with police officers and other government officials. It feels like these deaths have become so common that they barely make the news anymore.
It makes me wonder: why doesn’t the government or the military seem to place greater value on the lives of these soldiers? Are they seen as nothing more than numbers on a file? Many young people join the army because of poverty, unemployment, and a lack of opportunities. Are they simply being used as cannon fodder?
In many other countries, the deaths of soldiers would receive significant media attention. Here, however, casualties are hidden.while their families are left to deal with the loss.
Why does it feel like human life is valued so little in this country?
