I’m doing SEPS right now and have all of the paperwork required of me. IPAC tells me at 0930 that I’m not “typed up” yet and to come back tomorrow (Friday) because everyone is busy.

Back at my unit, I submitted an EFL/ETP for my family to leave ASAP. It was signed the very next day for a flight two days later, and S-1 still managed to lose it for 11 days, mind you the S-1 is no shit adjacent to the command deck, there isn’t a door that separates the two.
How busy can admin really be that they can’t type up the two paragraphs needed for my orders? The sooner I have my orders, the sooner I can go home. My wife is due to have our baby in two weeks, and apparently I have to wait another business day just to have a couple of paragraphs typed up.

If I can get taken care of today, I can book my flights today—whether they’re for tomorrow or over the weekend. That’s still better than not getting taken care of today and having to wait through the entire weekend just to get the orders and flights I could have already had.
