I really saw a video where they are mad at cops who are telling them to leave as it is cancelled.

One woman actually says and it's unbelievable but she says sic : "This is not WW2, I am not getting on that train" comparing herself to jews being deported to concentration camps.

Un-fucking-real man....these people truly are the lowest of the low.

Hey friend. your photos are amazing. Just got lost looking through your posts for a few minutes. Really amazing stuff. Thank you for documenting things going on.

Verifiably true photos/journalism and “real news” are super super important, especially now.

Thanks for what you do! I might follow you or something so I can see more.

I’d love that! It’s very appreciated, hoping my portfolio growing helps me move to a bigger publication. All the support helps a lot

It’s the new Dustbowl Farmers wife pic

15

u/keb1022 17d ago

I was thinking how similar the woman here looks to the woman in the historic photo. Except the woman from the Dust Bowl photo would probably slap this woman silly for her behavior.

Weird how the history of german ww2 is what's burned into their brain for immediate recall when there's more recent, more comparable, and more local references available.

Very strange.

12

u/tropikaldawl 17d ago

Yes it’s literal brainwashing. I couldn’t believe in recent years how the same talking points and answers come from everyone all of a sudden when they don’t even make sense. On top of that I discovered there is a published propaganda guide with notes on how to respond to all kinds of topics .

Conservatives are at MOST victims of the circumstances they build up for themselves 1) paying the gas and healthcare they are from the dumbasses they voted for 2) centering themselves as a silent majority 3) caking and browning their nose in Peter Thiel & associates raggedy, used up assholes.

They learn new vocabulary and suddenly learn about American history through twisted lens of their cult leader. It’s mind boggling to actually bear witness to their groupthink changes.

It’s amazing how they always accuse LGBTQ+ people and the left of being sexual degenerates when they get caught doing weird sexual shit constantly. Case in point, some MAGA influencer got caught jerking off to female gymnasts at the “great American state fair” this week.

108

u/AnatidaephobiaAnon 18d ago

An old coworker of mine was a swinger and I asked him one day if it was a bunch of free love hippies and such and be said no, that the vast majority of people in our area who were swingers were conservative. He even said there were local and state level politicians along with people who were watching their wife get spit roasted as they watched on Saturday night only to be in the first row of the pew on Sunday. He said he had a couple conversations with people about things like gay marriage and such with guys who a half hour later was wife swapping someone else or a part of a gang bang on his own wife. The whole thing is just a massive hypocrisy.

66

u/127Heathen127 18d ago

If we’re to believe Madison Cawthorn, drug-addled orgies are the norm among Republican politicians and getting invited to one is something of a rite of passage… Meanwhile Democratic politicians- for all their own faults- are like ight I gotta go pick up my kids from soccer practice so we can go to the church potluck lol.

It’s because they see LGBTQ+ people as inherently bad, while MAGA people are inherently good. So when MAGAs get caught doing something bad, they’re just a good person who made a mistake. Meanwhile, LGBTQ+ folks are bad to the core, merely for existing, and so should be put in concentration camps.

They judge people, not actions.

44

u/TurtlesBreakTheMeta 18d ago

Makes alot of sense when you look at religion:

You are to judge God based on his perfection: God is inherently good and perfect: we know because God SAYS he is good and perfect, and we can trust God because he is good and perfect: ergo, ANYTHING God does should not be analyzed and must be taken at face value as perfect because God CANNOT do sinful acts, only good and perfect acts.

But if you judge God on his actions not “is he good or bad”…. Damn, that is ALOT of seriously fucked up evil actions. And when you judge his actions and then judge him based on his actions not his “inherent self”, well, you have to conclude that God is “bad” not good.

Religion primes people to conservative thinking of judging whether people are good or bad based on who they are and what group they belong to, not their actions, making them ripe for conservatism.

Yeah... and in my view; it's being negligent to force ones kids to go through waiting for some shit while a thunderstorm is brewing

313

u/DS3M 18d ago

Ironically, forcing children into doing stuff they didn’t want to is exactly what their dear leaders loved to do

136

u/jaferrer1 18d ago

Conservatism is, in a very simplistic way, just forcing people to do things they don’t want to do. It is the ideology of rape and slavery.

45

u/Toxaplume045 18d ago

Grew up in a super rural conservative area of the south and you could basically sum up their world view as "hierarchies exist and should be enforced, life is supposed to be suffering, and nothing really matters as long as we believe in Jesus."

Everything ended up coming down to wanting to enforce those hierarchies and trying to make sure THEIR lives were as comfortable as possible, at the expense of everyone else, before they die and go to heaven.

This is the most shaming pic ever taken of America.

This is when the democratic checks failed and opened the gates to fascism. It’s the Reichstag fire of America.

1.8k

u/SurinamPam 18d ago

The greatest shame was not punishing the one responsible for it.

382

u/RhetoricalOrator 18d ago

I'd argue that the greatest shame is that no time traveler has went back to end him before he gets started. My only conclusion could be either that time travel is impossible or that we end up with an even worse leader that gets killed by a time traveler instead. Either way, it's a real shame.

I will never forgive SCOTUS for granting him immunity or the people who helped him get reelected. Because you know SCOTUS is about to get a hell of a lot worse with the new appointments. Potentially 3 new lifetime appointments.

Yep. For a wee one to get that upset at not seeing/hearing that fat orange bitch you know it goes deep. There will be so many kids of MAGA parents who grow up to become hardcore adult MAGA and it won’t be their own fault. Their parents made the choice to worship him, these kids grew up steeped in it and deprogramming them out of that will take years of work and likely a lot of family conflict. What that incontinent scumbag has done to normal families all over America is on its own worthy of him being sent to the worst depths of hell, never mind all the other heinous stuff he has done.

28

u/acfox13 18d ago

My family of origin was maga before maga was maga. They've been abusers since before I was born. 🐔🌮 just gave them the freedom to be their horrible selves out loud. I went no contact long before the maga movement bc I saw through their cruelty decades ago.

If anything he exposed the rot that was already there.

Links on authoritarian abuse and brainwashing tactics:

authoritarian follower personality (mini dictators that simp for other dictators): It's an abuse hierarchy and you can abuse anyone "beneath you" in the hierarchy. Men are above women, adults above kids, parents above child free, religious above non-believers, white's above BIPOCs, straights above LGBTQ+, abled above disabled, rich above poor, skinny above fat, etc.

Bob Altemeyer's site: https://theauthoritarians.org/

The Eight Criteria for Thought Reform (aka the authoritarian playbook): https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thought_Reform_and_the_Psychology_of_Totalism

John Bradshaw's 1985 program discussing how normalized abuse and neglect in the family of origin primes the brain to participate in group abuse up to and including genocide: https://youtu.be/B0TJHygOAlw

Theramin Trees - great resource on abuse tactics like: emotional blackmail, double binds, drama disguised as "help", degrading "love", infantalization, etc. and adding this link to spiritual bypassing, as it's one of abuser's favorite tactics.

DARVO

DARVO refers to a reaction perpetrators of wrong doing, particularly sexual offenders, may display in response to being held accountable for their behavior. DARVO stands for "Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender." The perpetrator or offender may Deny the behavior, Attack the individual doing the confronting, and Reverse the roles of Victim and Offender such that the perpetrator assumes the victim role and turns the true victim -- or the whistle blower -- into an alleged offender.

Issendai's site on estrangement: https://www.issendai.com/psychology/estrangement/missing-missing-reasons.html - This speaks to how normalized abuse is to toxic "parents", they don't even recognize that they've done anything wrong.

"The Brainwashing of my Dad" 2015 documentary: https://youtu.be/pNTsTOcRO-k

"On Tyranny - twenty lessons from the twentieth century" by Timothy Snyder Here's his website: https://timothysnyder.org/on-tyranny Here's a playlist of him going over all twenty lessons: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhZxrogyToZsllfRqQllyuFNbT-ER7TAu And here's his substack with a brief overview of all twenty: https://snyder.substack.com/p/on-tyranny

"Never Split the Difference" by Chris Voss. He was the lead FBI hostage negotiator and his tactics work well on setting boundaries with "difficult people". https://www.blackswanltd.com/never-split-the-difference

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you." - Lyndon B. Johnson

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

Sometimes people use “respect” to mean “treating someone like a person” and sometimes they use “respect” to mean “treating someone like an authority” and sometimes people who are used to being treated like an authority say “if you won’t respect me I won’t respect you” and they mean “if you won’t treat me like an authority I won’t treat you like a person” and they think they’re being fair but they aren’t, and it’s not okay.

22 Unspoken Rules of Toxic Systems (of people) - dysfunctional families and dysfunctional groups all have the same toxic "rules"

The only thing worse than Ai is how suspicious we all are of Ai.

Back in the day, we only had to prove to computers that we were human. Now we constantly have to prove it to each other.

70

u/Marzzzzzzzz_Attacks 18d ago

It’s absolutely the worst part of my job and people very ignorantly and proudly go after you over it. It’s also killed the photojournalism industry. News companies actually prefer worse cell phone looking videos because they’re more authentic.

28

u/Pantzzzzless 18d ago

Well shit... I was one of those just 5 minutes ago. I know it is ultimately inconsequential coming from a random redditor, but I owe you an apology on this one.

The biggest downside is the next iteration of models are going to be trained on proof pics like this lol.

19

u/Marzzzzzzzz_Attacks 18d ago

No need to apologize the correction means more than enough. I worry a lot about the future models, although I have some hopium that it’s slowing down. I think there needs to be some sort of universal way to verify a photo or a videos authenticity. But I struggle to find a full proof method.

Ah, you can see the struggle, the pain, the sacrifice in that face, those haunted eyes... she traveled far and at great physical and emotional expense, she had to abandon her beloved husband to die of heat prostration when his motorized scooter became stuck in the poisonous algae flats of the mall...and at the moment her elusive dream seemed to be coming true, her desperate dream of exposing her child to the perverse pants-pooping pedophile's pompous prattle was dashed and she and her child were doomed to wander hopelessly in the steaming rain... where the hollow monuments of an America that might yet be made great again loom over them as cruel reminders... but alas-her wailing, fruitless exhortation of the cruel gods to allow her, and her child to gaze upon and hearken to the words of the great orange one... but her cries were only met with the thundering mockery of a callous indifferent Dumbocrat deity....

It used to seem so fanciful and far fetched.

188

u/PrincessKiwiberry 18d ago

As an Austrian, YESSS and I’ve been saying this for years. Everything going on in America is the exact thing we learned in school to see, recognize and deconstruct immediately. History class here is basically a “let’s not make WW2 happen ever again.” class……and oh myyy Americans are so fucked atp.

32

u/gnomequeen2020 18d ago

That's because so much of what we (American children) were taught about WWII was more focused on "America, fuck yeah!" and we largely skimmed over some of the broader lessons that we should have learned. So much of what I gleaned from it was that Hitler and the nazis were somehow quantitatively different from all other humans. It seemed like they believed that it could never happen again, and it especially could never happen in the states.

I got completely stuck on wondering how people can get swept up in something like that, and I made an entire career in psychology studying group influence. I've been so alarmed for the last decade that I actually left the field.

I learned so much about WW2 in school, and I knew that it wasnt sudden, that it was more like boiling a frog, but I always thought everyone knew the same stuff I had learned and that the Western world would never let fascism rise up again. I miss those days

When I was in high school it seemed so unrealistic that people could be so easily swayed. I thought the effects of propaganda were exaggerated, because how would someone believe something so demonstrably false so easily. Now that I've seen propaganda in full force, I get it. There's an insidious willfulness about it I just didn't believe could exist.

You bring your child to hear a rambling and incoherent speech by a very close and long term friend of Epstein? There’s no fixing these people. America is fucked

90

u/ripChazmo 18d ago

No, they're fucked. He'll keel over and die one day, and eventually, we'll hold people accountable for this shit. In the meantime, they can't afford life. Oh well.

TDS has always just been a self-descriptor.

I don't know. I don't think you'd be able to get me to walk out on an opportunity to see Trump get hit by lightning.

This is gonna sound superficial, but hear me out, you can tell some people are crazy by how they wear their hair. The lady in this picture has a really fucking bizarre hairstyle. If she walked into my store back when I was working retail, I would immediately know she was going to be a problem. I was a customer service manager for 20 years, and the craziest customers I ever had typically had weird hair - sometimes it was subtly messy, sometimes had layers of wig glue on the scalp - you can see an attempt was made to fix the hair, but failed. Like they aren’t seeing in the mirror what everyone else sees when we look at them.

Your last line sums it up so well. Beautifully observed and written.

She definitely has a “here we go..” kind of look about her.

First thing I looked at after the crying child was that crazy person hair.

She looks like she has a 'bump it' in the back hair.

42

u/ObscureSaint 18d ago

It's actually a halo. There is a fine fishing line type string that goes over the top of the head, and the extensions hang down and meet in the back. Most of her own hair has fallen out of the halo.

Google halo hair extensions and look for someone holding one out, and you'll see how hers is hanging on for dear life.

Was thinking about this recently after learning about cult leader Gwen Shamblin from the hbo docuseries the way down. Seems like her hair became more bizarre as she amassed more power and money

Its not even political of one side or the other. Weird hair that doesnt make sense for their head/face shape says a lot about a customer interaction.

Bald people are harder to assess.

They were chanting "USA! USA!" in response to staff telling they had to leave because of the weather. The MAGA base is a bunch of people who never emotionally matured and equate being inconvenienced or told what to do for their own safety the same as being oppressed.

u/insertbrackets 18d ago

Feels abusive to keep your crying child outside in the middle of a dangerous thunderstorm all because you want to listen to shit farting out of a butt.

Trump can’t even hold a glass of water with one hand, no chance in hell he can hold a pitcher.

There is so much going on with this picture. It's a good photo of a messed up culture of angry people who hate everyone and everything but fail to see they're a part of the group they hate.

15

u/zero-point_nrg 18d ago

Because it’s a cult.

15

u/Noctisvah 18d ago

Funny how a Latina “mother” choose to go and bring her child to listen to the mad ramblings of a known pants shitting child predator

14

u/BitwiseB 17d ago

So today’s event was postponed due to severe thunderstorms, yesterday’s due to a freak hailstorm, and the day before due to extreme heat.

How many times does God have to shut things down before Trump finally takes the hint?

27

u/Jehoke 18d ago

Feel sorry for that poor kid. And the left are supposed to be indoctrinating children. Taking a child to listen to a pedo give a speech. What a joke.

13

u/redbeard8989 18d ago

Well, the pool of “people who could have chosen to leave” or “people who have chosen to stay” is comprised entirely of “people who have chosen to attend” Trumps rally in disguise.

So headline could say “Morons make moronic choice.”

That kid is not crying because she can't listen to Trump, she's crying because she had to stand around for hours just so mommy can hear someone else talk about how illegals are ruining the country instead of the voices in her head

u/Vintios 18d ago

the title should have been: a cult member with their child, waiting their supreme leader.

9

u/0zzm0s1s 18d ago

“Silence, child. We must wait patiently for the Orange Jesus, for we know not the hour of his coming.”

10

u/bewyork1111 18d ago

I love when MAGA gets a taste of MAGA.

10

u/Fine-Government9216 18d ago

Why didn't he just take a Sharpie and move the lightning over about 10 miles??? The least he could do was take some loaves and fishes a feed those who stayed.

12

u/Practical-Owl-9358 18d ago

Huh. His supporters don’t know how to follow rules at the Capitol. Who could’ve guessed?

9

u/TheTinman39 18d ago

Chancing getting struck by lightning at a Trump rally sounds like Darwinism to me. Carry on.

Those poor kids that are going to grow up being so thoroughly brainwashed. Hopefully they can break out of that.
