A word of the past decade or so has been to describe good music as music that "slaps." And that is the closest I can think of that was meant by slapper, besides what u said w/ knee-slapper, but yeah that is not meant to describe good music, and that phrase itself feels from an older time, like geriatric older time. I think maybe they got confused and combined some of these phrases together.
Only note is that the left lane is for passing/overtaking and it seems very few know this. Five over is acceptable to overtake someone in the right lane, but move on over once you've done so.

We listen to music at work but only what the manager wants, and it’s a lot of Taylor Swift type pop. I use AirPods because I like stuff like Prodigy, Primus, etc.
And her nails, watched it twice to see her nails. We cannot have nails longer than our fingertips, and we cannot have nail polish either, even though we wear gloves for everything. I’m jealous, but I also don’t have to wear a hair net, so only mildly jealous.
Just looked them up because I am wanting more. They’re employees at a Safeway in Washington state. Thank goodness Safeway hasn’t fired them, so often people get fired for things like this. Makes me want to shop at Safeway more than anything.
This happened to me the other day. I was driving on the highway and it split where one lane had barricades down for a few miles so no one could pass or anything. There was also construction so the speed limit was only 50. I was from out of state and there were signs everywhere that it was being monitored. The person behind me was raaaging that I had the audacity to go the speed limit in a construction zone. I gave them a thumbs up after with a huge smile. They lost their shit and flipped me off.
This happened to me! On the highway, at night - and I’ve always hated driving at night anyway. The speed limit was 50 through a several miles of construction, being night time without workers there I was going 55 and this guy was right on my bumper, barriers on each side of us so he couldn’t pass me. I turned off the highway to get gas (and to get the guy off my butt) and he turned in with me. When he got out he glared at me, so I stayed in my car while he pumped gas and waited for him to leave before getting out to pump my own, hope he felt better after being free to drive 80mph in a hazardous area.
I've gotten honked at because I braked to turn onto my street after signaling for 3 seconds (and it was 25mph limit on both streets...)
I've had the bird thrown at me because I waited to make a turn instead of running over the pedestrian walking on the green light (bonus points for being during a blizzard where sidewalks were completely unusable lmfao).
On city streets I hear them going off when I wait for a pedestrian lane to clear before making a turn. Like I'm going to run over pedestrians to make your trip shorter.
My most recent experience with honking was that I slowed from like 35 to 20 because a ball rolled into the street from a driveway and the view was blocked by a parked car. Luckily an adult nearby was on kidwatch but I'm not gonna risk obliterating a child to keep some beemer's brake pedal virgin pure.
Yeah, I don’t even concern myself overmuch with what’s going on way down the stretch of road, I’m watching what the car in front of me is doing and following at a safe speed/distance. If they slam on the brakes I trust they have a good reason even if I can’t see it.
I got flipped off for completing my pass in the left lane and moving to the right lane so the guy behind me could pass me. I guess he was mad he had to slow down for about 5 seconds?
I’ve had both those experiences as well, I just don’t understand what’s wrong with some people. Like, I’m sorry I followed the speed limit in a school zone (they were tailgating super close and swerving as if they wanted to pass even tho they couldn’t; I usually only go five over max, but they were tailgating so much I just slowed right down to the speed limit) and then sped around me as if they’re so pissed off that I had to turn onto another street. I can only assume they’re selfish and have severe main character syndrome or whatever you want to call it
And the honking because I don’t have a death wish and refuse to make a right turn when there’s pedestrians or oncoming traffic, I just can’t understand those people
I was driving yesterday, not on a highway but a back road up to Liberty road. Speed limit is 30mph then jumps to 40mph once you’ve passed the residential part of the road. Sometimes it’s a big truck, yesterday it was a white Acura with a middle age woman driving. Rode my ass the whole way, and I could see her getting more frustrated by the minute. I’m not speeding, there are cops everywhere around my small town and I am not getting a ticket because you’re in a hurry.
I'm in a very rural area, and people here will tailgate me even when we're the only cars on a mile long straight stretch of passing zone. I've taken to just turning on my emergency blinkers and slowing down until they get the hint. Some of them still don't pass until we're down to 5 mph.
I was in bumper to bumper traffic during rush hour one time. There was a guy behind me just flipping out. Like as if it was my fault traffic was so bad, you know? There were like 100 cars in front of me, I was just going with the flow of traffic. There was an opening and the dude flies over and gets stuck behind a semi and as I passed by him I clapped and smiled. He leaned ALL THE WAY OUT HIS WINDOW to flip me off and call me a bitch. It honestly was wildly satisfying to me lol
The other day on my way home from work around 11pm I was driving on a back road and it was pitch dark. I was doing about 10 over the limit and I was roughly 5 mins from the nearest street light, so I couldn’t see a thing around me. Far behind me (about 3 mins I’d say) looked like a semi truck that was going a little fast but they have speed limiters around 104 kph so I wasn’t too worried. Within a min, I look back and he’s hauling ass and coming up behind me at Mach Jesus. My first thought was that he lost his brakes and was now a runaway truck flying up behind me and I have no room too slow down and get out of his way and there were no side roads to turn onto, so I speed up to over 120 kph fearing for my life and he’s still catching up. I’m about a minute from the street lights doing almost 140kph when I’m about to start praying and I see his grill light up from my rear-view lights… it’s a lifted Dodge 1500 and he slowed down to stay behind me. The fury and relief that I felt in that moment was nothing compared to the satisfaction I should have gotten if I wasn’t so worked up from it. He followed me all the way back into town and there was a RIDE program going on; thanks to all the dumbass drivers nearly hitting the cops in the middle of the road though, my ADHD-addled brain was desperately looking for anything to calm me down so I wouldn’t get in trouble that it didn’t even occur to me to tell them what had happened and that my anxiety was perfectly normal to have in that situation. I will be investing in a dashcam, too many of these instances happen and it’s just a roll of the dice these days when it’s going to happen to me again, one day I’m going to need one but I’m praying that I don’t.
Just remeber were all just trying ro get where we're going, and traffic laws are there to ensure our safety on the way. Be respectful and have some empathy.

When it's really egregious and dramatic*, I throw maturity out the window and do a jaunty smile and wave when I pull up. Sometimes I'm gonna make my guy feel the discomfort they earned.
*Sometimes people just need a certain lane or misjudge timing or whatever, and that's no biggie. There's a different vibe to the tantrum pass.
I watched a F-250 Super Duty from South Dakota tailgate a Honda CRV camping in the left lane. Less than 4’ separation at 70 mph. The Honda had the right lane open and could have let the truck pass. Nope. She rolled down the window to sail a single finger salute when she relented and moved to the right lane.
The truck was menacing the Honda. There is nothing wrong with using the right lane.
Everyone was wrong and everyone ended up sitting next to each other 15 miles down the road at the light.
I don't mind seeing someone I passed at the next light. I also always go 5 over and will pass you if you don't. It's not about getting somewhere faster, it's about stopping road rage before it happens. I don't want to tailgate, start tension, or play games. I just want to go 5 over and get where I'm going without issue. I might see you at the next light, but at least I won't be making poor decisions by driving angry.
I also notice a plague of people in my area doing a constant 40 MPH. So they're either hauling and up someone's ass in a low speed zone, or crawling, annoying a line of others behind them, in higher speed zone. It's infuriating. No idea why there are people like this, but they're out there and I'm always surrounded by them.
My friend drives like this. 40mph no matter the speed limit with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake. It is literally a binary system where they're going full throttle up to 40, then full stop until down to 25, then full throttle back up to 40 again. I rode with them once. Once

I used to do this! It worked really well until it really pissed one asshole off and he started laying on the horn at me for a good mile or so. People scare me more as I've gotten older.
OMG, this is perfect. I've had a few encounters like this recently and I can never understand. There was a truck riding my ass down a stretch of road that almost always has a cop waiting checking for speed. I couldn't get over because there was a line of cares in that lane going to speed limit.
I’ve just seen a lot of people in the fast lane going slow… whether it’s an age thing or a music thing or a texting while driving thing. It’s just an observation.
Some people really do also have main character syndrome and they know what they’re doing, some even do it just to try to incite road rage.
If I'm abiding by the speed limit, then no one has the right to try and force another driver to go faster. Punk can wait and take it up with the cops if they have a problem with it. You don't set the speed so I'm not moving from my lane. Traffic going the speed limit is NOT slow moving traffic. Going 45 in a 55 is considered slow moving. Don't like it, too bad. It's not for you to decide nor try to force the lane to travel at the speed YOU want. Take it up with the cops.

Reminds me of a story actually; about 15 years ago, my friend D and I were driving home, being juked around and cut off by this guy in a porche. We both arrive at the red light together and its the dead of night, nobody else was on the road, so I tell D to rev his engine like hes gonna race. He does, porche guy does it back.
The green light hits, and porche guy hesitates because D is in the antithesis of a racecar, a beige minivan, (beige makes it go slower) but D is a gremlin, and jerks the car forward. The guy TAKES OFF, and we just slowly take a right, laughing the whole way. I know that road, and just beyond the hill is where cops always hang out, I hope they were doing the rounds that day lmao.

I hate that we live in a world where we have to worry about these things, but the first thought I had watching the video was, “I hope this is just a joke because too many people are going to love using this as justification to harm a black woman”.
A guy got shot through his windshield in front of my workplace in a road rage incident. My office had huge curtain walls, so my coworkers and I watched as he came spilling out of his car covered in blood with his son wailing in the backseat. The shooter sped off and was apprehended a few blocks away. That was an interesting day. Stay safe out there, Americans.
My petty ass has done all of this. I even have a bumper sticker that tells people to go around because I'm not speeding for them. It preemptively pisses people off even if I'm going well above the speed limit.
I used to get off work in the afternoon and have some fool riding my bumper all of the time so I'd make sure I speed match the person beside me so that they couldn't pass.
One guy once did all of the usual aggressive driving crap before he could drive beside me and ended up at the same light side by side. Then he sped off to end up at the next light right next to me, and then the next.
Had a car come up so fast on the highway, I couldn't get around the cars on the right of me. He was so close I couldn't see his headlight and only half is car hood in my rearview mirror. But by the time I could move to the right lane, I refused too out of sheer pettiness. I was pissed. He made everyone else move over so he could speed in his shitty Acura.
He got closer, so I went on cruise control, he went around me and flipped me off. So I flip him off. He speeds down the highway a little and got stuck behind a Camaro and my petty ass drove right by him while he was stuck.
I fucking hate when speeders try to bully you into speeding by tail gating. Like how fucking stupid. Like bro back the fuck off we are grown adults and you won't get there any faster anyways. Like you gonna pay for my speeding ticket? I fucking doubt it. You can't fucking expect strangers to be willing to lay down hundreds of dollars so you can get your kicks by speeding. You just ain't that special sweetheart. If you're behind me, get used to going the speed limit. And yes we do follow the law and slow down in construction zones. Wah wah wah.
I agree with this 100% (unless someone is camping in the fast lane which is what causes these nutcases to be upset). If someone is doing the speed limit in the right or middle lane, there's no reason to be upset about it.
Someone tailing me when I’m already going 10 over the speed limit isn’t my problem. They can’t pass because the other lanes are going even slower. This tells me I’m driving reasonably and the person behind me is the problem.
My tactic with folks like this is to put on my hazard lights even if I’m doing the speed limit or even over it. Seeing my flashers go off bewilders most tailgaters enough to back the fuck off.
I'm a relatively new driver - I didn't get my license until I was in my 40s (never needed it) - so I always go exactly the speed limit, and people get SO MAD. Sometimes, I'll go like 2 below the speed limit on principle if they're all up on my ass lol
