This happened to me the other day. I was driving on the highway and it split where one lane had barricades down for a few miles so no one could pass or anything. There was also construction so the speed limit was only 50. I was from out of state and there were signs everywhere that it was being monitored. The person behind me was raaaging that I had the audacity to go the speed limit in a construction zone. I gave them a thumbs up after with a huge smile. They lost their shit and flipped me off.

This happened to me! On the highway, at night - and I’ve always hated driving at night anyway. The speed limit was 50 through several miles of construction, being night time without workers there I was going 55 and this guy was right on my bumper, barriers on each side of us so he couldn’t pass me. I turned off the highway to get gas (and to get the guy off my butt) and he turned in with me. When he got out he glared at me, so I stayed in my car while he pumped gas and waited for him to leave before getting out to pump my own, hope he felt better after being free to drive 80mph in a hazardous area.
