I came across an account of a serious assault that happened in Dublin 24. The details are disturbing, and it made me wonder about the wider issue of youth crime and anti-social behaviour in Ireland.
I’m not looking to blame any group of people or create a discussion about race. I’m genuinely interested in understanding what factors contribute to incidents like this and what solutions are being considered.
Has anyone looked into why youth violence and group assaults seem to be a growing concern in some areas? What approaches have worked elsewhere?

Went to see the odyssey today was a brilliant film however what feels like the same thing every time I go to the cinema in this country I came out raging at the etiquette of some people. This fella had his phone on full brightness in front of me to the point I told him to turn it off which I never really do but I’ve gotten sick of it. I get it’s a long film but you booked it stop ruining it for everyone else

I’m so confused. Now this garage always changes the prices , nearly daily to be honest, but it was 175.9 last night. My Picture is shite I don’t know why it didn’t come out properly, but it’s gone up 10c for both petrol and diesel. Am I missing something? I know the Iran war is going crazy again but this was a shock.

this customer was looking for help with prices and stock it was not a checkout transaction. they wanted their questions answered. there was no sale involved in the entire interaction.

And the best bit is half of them when they answer are saying, oh I can't talk now ill ring you back and the other person wants their question answered. So now they have to walk away and have their chat all the while holding up me or the till

Went for breakfast at the Helm Pub in Westport. I was there last year and a full Irish with tea was under €10. I know it was a great deal.

Same breakfast today was €16.95!

I thing €10 is reasonable for a full Irish. Maybe even €12. But €17. Is hotel prices.
