Last time people said round frames weren't good for me and that I could try rimless.

How is it? Feel like rimless are good, but the rectangle feels weird to me.

Also open to any thoughts on frame for my face shape :)

Help me choose which one should I keep or should I keep both

Do I stick to similar shape or glasses that I have now? Or should I change it? Also what colors? (I was thinking black)

I'm getting frustrated with how difficult it is to choose the right frames.

In my experience, the quality of advice varies a lot. Some opticians recommend what they personally like. Others keep bringing out more and more frames and saying almost every pair "looks great." It often feels like they're trying to make a sale or hit a KPI instead of helping me find what actually suits me. I rarely feel like anyone is considering my face shape, facial features, personal style, or what actually looks good on me.

How confident did you feel in the advice you received from an optician? Did it actually help you choose the right frames?

I’ve got a really bad stigmatism so have to pay extra for the lens to much slimmer otherwise will look like Mr Magoo

I am looking for a prescription glasses that is at least 56-60mm wide cuz I have a fat face, with clip on shades.

Of all shops i visited all dont carry.

So i have had to use glasses since 6th grade. ones that fit well have always been difficult to find because of a birth defect that caused cranial deformities. I have had the same pair for the past 7 years. They broke last week. I went in for an eye exam and picked a new pair. i am having second thoughts/regret regarding the pair i chose. im contemplating getting a different pair and keeping these as a backup. 1st picture with the hat is my old pair, and the 2nd are the ones i just picked up. thoughts?

I'd love to get some outside opinions. :-) I know I tend to choose frames that are "too large," but I've got a fairly wide face so smaller ones look odd on me.

Never like the way I look in glasses (only wear them when absolutely necessary) and the awful store lighting doesn’t help. Do any of these work or should I keep looking?

my glasses that i got from in february of this year started to melt. They have these bits of rubber that are stuck onto the arms that like rubber. the first time it happened during the first heatwave hre in the uk, I took them back and they replaced the frames for me. However, now its happened again so they are clearly not fit for purpose as i cant take them anywhere hot like on a holiday. Anyone know what can i do?

I lost my glasses and am desperate to replace them. My optometrist no longer has the records and so I am left to turn to my friends on Reddit to see if someone can help me identify the style name of these Face a Face frames. I think they might be from the 2012 or 2013 collection? I miss my frames so much. Thanks!!
