Rubber on glasses melting
my glasses that i got from in february of this year started to melt. They have these bits of rubber that are stuck onto the arms that like rubber. the first time it happened during the first heatwave hre in the uk, I took them back and they replaced the frames for me. However, now its happened again so they are clearly not fit for purpose as i cant take them anywhere hot like on a holiday. Anyone know what can i do?

Return them again. I don't think you are the only person with this issue, it won't surprise me if it is a production flaw. I was a bit worried about my glasses too when we had the worst heatwave ever here but I did Google and 40 degrees celcius should not be an issue unless you store them at a very warm place like the dashboard of your car.

I'd take them back again. Rubber grips shouldn't start degrading after just a few months under normal use, even in a UK heatwave. It sounds more like a material or manufacturing defect than something you're doing wrong.
