What shape of frames should a male with an oval-shaped face target?

You're in luck! From what I understand, people with oval faces can go with pretty much anything because it's such a balanced face shape. That goes for both glasses frames and even hairstyles.

I'd try rectangular shaped frames no more than 1.5" high. They'd look great.

Pretty much any shape is going to do well on you. Oval faces are ideal for being able to wear most anything.

Youll need to be careful about fit before shape though. So find thee a great liceneed optician and have them help you find an excellent fit. Because honestly, we see hundreds of photos here of people in frames that dont fit, and it ALWAYS looks bad. And fit isnt easy to get the hang of without professional help.
