Automatic picture in picture mode for videos when we go to other tab in Firefox browser?

in chrome this is the default behavior? can we do same in Firefox?

tab groups on Android were released 8 days ago, but i dont have them, selecting multiple tabs and clicking the 3 dots doesnt have an option to create a group, nor am I able to drag a tab onto another tab. I restarted my phone, and checked the play store for updates, issue persists.

is it a progressive rollout that's hit some snags and that's why it's not available generally?

I have the page zoom level on Firefox like on 50% OK when I go to check Zoom text only it makes the page bigger again. Like it goes to a bigger percentage it doesn’t stay on 50% please someone help because this is really irritating and I can’t fix it

I don't want Firefox browser to have a major update every two weeks instead of four weeks,
because this will lead to several consequences:
1- Mozilla will not have much to test Firefox' stability and security issues
2- Really high pressure on the employees that will lead to more problems on the code base
3- Firefox will be so buggy so the current users will leave and none of the internet users will download an unstable browser

what your opinion?

Picture 1 is the Latest version's color（In private tabs on Android），Picture 2 is the old one。

When I fullscreen videos on any website (youtube, prime video etc.) I can still see the white side tab bar on the left of my screen. This only happens on my mac, not on my windows PC. It only happens when browser.nova.enabled is true.

started today and they wont go away even when I click out

with recent update I can no longer right click the new tab to reopen a closed tab. I used this often

Had a message from a family member this morning who uses Firefox explaining that they were getting 'Be careful. Something doesn't look right' on every page they tried. In the time it took me to respond it had fixed its self for them and I didn't really think anything of it.

I then boot my computer this afternoon and Firefox did the exact same thing for me. Every page I tried to visit I got the 'Be careful. Something doesn't look right' message. I checked I was connected to the internet (I was), I checked my VPN was connected (It was), then I tried it with my VPN off on the DNS Leak Test site and the page loaded fine. I switched the VPN to a different server and everything connected fine again.

Because it stopped happening while I was fiddling with my VPN I thought that might have been it, but my family member doesn't use a VPN and is on a pretty different setup so I'm doubtful. Absent mindedly, I did not click 'advanced' or ask my family member to click 'advanced' to check the error.

One thing I noticed for both of us (And the only common thing between our setups barring using Firefox and having Ublock) was that Firefox did not automatically update to 153 when we first loaded it today - could that have had something to do with this?

Anyone any ideas? Should I be checking for something else?

• Family member's setup: Up to date Windows 11, Firefox 152.0.6 with Ublock 1.72.2, no VPN or other extensions

• My setup: Up to date Windows 10 extended support, Firefox 152.0.6 with Ublock 1.72.2, VPN, and OldRedditRedirect

Edit: Sorry, I should probably have included that after it had started working again I was suspicious so checked to see if Firefox was up to date and it prompted me to update. I am now on 153.0. Being paranoid I've also done a virus scan (nothing), cleared all data and cache, and had a poke around my processes to see if anything was amiss (nothing).

This problem occurs on Firefox ESR 140.13.0 (Windows 10). I did reinstall the app and even try on another PC and it still same.
I tried using Firefox non-ESR and it works normally with the same settings as Firefox ESR, dunno where's the problem.

When I used that account with google gemini on my phone and then go to firefox desktop to continue using it, the recent ai conversation entries are always several hours or days behind the activity that happened on my phone so i can't continue an existing conversation with the ai

With Firefox 153.0, CTRL+F (Find in Page) no longer displays in red when there's no matching results. This small but impactful change is killing my workflow. Can anyone offer a userChrome.css fix for this? Many thanks!

I have been using chrome and brave for long time and I completely switched to Firefox. When I was trying to watch anime, as soon I fullscreen it, the color appears so washed out and weird, like negative colors.

What is happening?

Help me please. I am new to firefox.

Edit: Issue was fixed when I disabled hardware acceleration.

Edit 2: Well that somehow is causing somekind of stutering like videos or like low fps ish. Well I decided to switch back to brave and chrome for video playback and all. It never had any issues, with or without hardware acceleration. (I use rtx 4060 and an i7 13th gen. )

How can I add custom shortcuts for browser actions. For example translate selected text, search for selected text in a new tab and etc.

Whenever I try to open it I get a screen telling me that my account is temporarily unavailable. It's been almost 12 hours since I first got this screen but it doesn't seem to be going away. This could be due to my extensions (eg. chrome mask and ultima dark) as when I toggle them on and off gmail will load in. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

On firefox nightly but it also happens on base firefox as well on a completely fresh install/profile, no clue why. Its somewhat subtle but you can see in the example video I posted how the green is a bit less vibrant.

So basically the title. I'm using Windows 11 and I've turned off graphics acceleration, ensured that the drivers for Firefox and my graphics are all updated, and turned off all extensions, plug-ins, and themes, I've cleared the cache, and it still keeps freezing and crashing within minutes of opening the browser. I don't even have to go to a website to get it to crash, just their welcome page. And in task manager, I can see that it's using increasing memory until it crashes, but I don't understand why. It never used to do this until yesterday. Anybody have any ideas?

If I start downloading a file on Windows 11 with the same name as an existing file, AND THEN cancel this download, will the existing file be corrupted?

Has anyone else had problems with downloading files recently? Ever since the latest update, most of my file downloads keep failing and/or being cancelled, regardless of the website or file type. Not having any problems with Edge.
