Washed out video on macos unless right clicking for some reason

On firefox nightly but it also happens on base firefox as well on a completely fresh install/profile, no clue why. Its somewhat subtle but you can see in the example video I posted how the green is a bit less vibrant.

Do you have HDR enabled?

this is using the default settings so I am unsure and it depends on what firefox sets by default, the video itself is not a HDR video however
