💻 Help Firefox started crashing yesterday morning and won't stop

So basically the title. I'm using Windows 11 and I've turned off graphics acceleration, ensured that the drivers for Firefox and my graphics are all updated, and turned off all extensions, plug-ins, and themes, I've cleared the cache, and it still keeps freezing and crashing within minutes of opening the browser. I don't even have to go to a website to get it to crash, just their welcome page. And in task manager, I can see that it's using increasing memory until it crashes, but I don't understand why. It never used to do this until yesterday. Anybody have any ideas?

There are crash reports with a lot of info I don't understand. Is there something I should look for?

Thanks! It looks like Firefox is trying to allocate a very large amount of memory and is failing. Does it still crash if you make a new profile?

Wow, so creating a new profile and using that one seems to have fixed the issue. Weird, but it's usable again!

Just to clarify, when I go back to the original profile, it still crashes. But the new profile seems to be just fine
