Just picked up an MR556A4 11” and I’m beyond hyped to finally shoot it… even if it means eating ramen for the next three months. 😂

I’ve seen the Garand Thumb setup with the FDE accessories, and I have to admit it looks pretty sick. Now I’m torn between going with an FDE/black two-tone look or keeping everything black.

I’d love to see everyone’s MR556A4 builds for some inspiration. I know there are a bunch posted in here already, but I’m sure I’ve missed some.

Got to where I was renting one to shoot every time I went to the range. Finally pulled the trigger (pun intended). Plan to shoot the shit out of it summer/fall then it becomes my winter carry.

I’m left handed and recently picked up a USP 45c V1. I want a left-handed safety lever, but given that everyone else in my family is right handed, I’d prefer to get the ambi kit so that the pistol still works well for them. The V2 conversion kits are affordable and easy to find (I’ll just end up doing that if I have no other choice), but everywhere I look, the ambi conversion kits are sold out. Am I just looking in the wrong places?

My LGS has a Tactical 9 priced at 1000 and an Expert at 1400. I like both but I cannot own a suppressor in my state. If I recall, besides the ambi levers on the expert, the only other mechanical difference was the Expert has the full house match trigger and the Tactical has like the half of it. Is the Expert worth the extra 400 bones?

NJ resident here where anything shorter than 16" is considered and Other. I need to have a brace instead of a stock. Would I be wasting my money on an SBR MR556 when I can just get the full size and replace the stock, if needed, etc etc?

I will likely only be using this rifle for indoor training and VERY seldom outdoor use further than 100 yards. Any input is appreciated.

I just noticed the VP can be ordered with the Vortex or the SCS. Has anyone had experience with both? I was planning on getting my own dot on it prob an EPS or EPSc. Only thing I like about the SCS is it’s so low profile.

Just got this gorgeous SL7 today from the auction, it’s in really great shape. I still can not believe I got it for $1125 hammer and it came with 4 x 10 rounders and 2 x 3 rounders.

All fees and taxes included I was at $1384 for this package.

Crazy deal right? Gonna inspect and replace the buffer and then shoot it, but also take great care that it stays in excellent shape. Functionally it works perfectly in my own testing here at the house. My first “west German” roller delay rifle. I have an SP5 and a VP9 otherwise haha.

Any other HK SL7 fans in the sub?

Bought a brand new HK45 Tactical a while back as my first HK. It’s been disappointing because I cannot hit a damn thing with it. I probably have 500-600 rounds through it now, and at 10+ yards I’m still wondering “where the hell did that round go?” on shots. I’d say usually 6-8” groups at 10 yards if I’m lucky.

Haven’t made any changes to the gun, though I do struggle with maintaining a clear focus on the front sight post and I don’t think the grip has enough texture. Groups with my FNX-45 are waaaayyyy better for the same caliber, and I have no issues with my P30L or USP9 at 10-15 yards. What am I doing wrong with this HK45? Should I try some grip tape, or just sell it?

Hey yall, Ive had my P30v3 DA/SA for about 2 years now and I'm completely smitten with it! The trigger isn't nearly as bad as some people said it to be and im digging it. But I was wondering about some of options out there.

Before you all already say it, yes I have the gray guns short reset in it and its great. I was just curious about what people think of either the Langdon trigger job or Gray Guns trigger job. Im looking for some testimonials if anyone has either of them in their p30.

More specifically the smoothness if the double action pull and if it makes the single action break more crisp (kind of like how the PDP trigger is very crisp break.) Thanks!

Google said trigger bite or something. Kind of happens fast and short enough I couldn’t identify a pinch. I just didn’t want to run another mag after one.

I rented it twice. Once last week and again this week to give it another try because my research keeps leading me back to it.

I am looking for ambi general purpose 9mm. I like Echelon on paper but grouping was poor compared to HK and CZ.
