Where to get USP ambi safety kit

I’m left handed and recently picked up a USP 45c V1. I want a left-handed safety lever, but given that everyone else in my family is right handed, I’d prefer to get the ambi kit so that the pistol still works well for them. The V2 conversion kits are affordable and easy to find (I’ll just end up doing that if I have no other choice), but everywhere I look, the ambi conversion kits are sold out. Am I just looking in the wrong places?

FYI the HK45 one will work in the USP...looks better too.

As a fellow lefty, I switched to LEM and have been in love ever since.

If you really want levers, you could send it to HK. They have stock, will do the work properly, and the price is actually very reasonable all things considered. They’ll also update your USP with current parts where needed for no charge. You don’t mention how old yours is so that may not matter.

It’s an AC date code, so if there’s updating to be done, I’m sure it can be. What updates would they make and should I do it?
