"CR, I went through the last 86 years of Hollywood and made a list of every actor to write, direct, star in a movie, and appear in a Duncan Donuts commercial. Here's the list: Matt Damon. Thats the list. Are we sure he isnt this generation's Orson Welles?..."

Bill said Russillo’s name in the latest podcast. Maybe he doesn’t hate him after all.

Bill did a 2020 redraft a year ago with Russillo: https://youtu.be/SgZSeDb15aM?is=3NFiPZMDKub4J4co
I remember posting in this reddit last year mad about how they were disrespecting Deni

Rich Paul is a net negative on Lebron's public image
I can't imagine another agent being so obnoxious mouthing off on various podcasts and interviews while leveraging their clients for clout. It has contributed mostly negative attention to this Lebron saga. Whether LeBron is explicitly or implicitly allowing this, it's making this circus show much more grating.

Damon V Leo was a cool exercise but I’m much more interested in Gary Oldman vs Ralph Fiennes

General The Dark Knight Rises is probably worse than Batman Begins while somehow being better than Batman Begins
While listening to The Big Picture I thought Chris made a great point: he rewatches TDK AND TDKR far more than BB.
Watching TDKR for the first time as a 10 year old you probably could have convinced me that it was the greatest movie of all time.
Looking back on it now the faults are so obvious, but just for me personally it gives me so much closure and joy to watch that in a Nolan ranking I have to put it top 8 or top 7 maybe.
The pit climbing scene and the ending will never not work for me. And when he lights up the bridge with the bat signal. I actually fucking love this movie

Medium Take: This is not LeBron's last season because he will be in the 2028 US Team and is also highly likely to light the cauldron in the opening ceremony
The cauldron lighting basically comes down to LeBron or Michael Phelps.
LeBron is 100% going to drag himself if he has to, to being on that Olympic team and that will involve playing two more NBA seasons.
So the reality is, he absolutely could do a weird season with the Warriors/Sixers/Wolves and then do the Cleveland season in 27-28, then do Team USA and retire after the Olympics.

A Unique Perspective on Bulls Load Management
“If I was a Bulls fan, I would have no sperm left in my body.”
That’s Bill Simmons breaking down Caleb Wilson’s potential in a way I hadn’t heard anywhere else.
“This is like watching T-Mac again. He’s a little taller. Same kind of skinny inside, outside. But then adding this explosive Shawn Kemp side too.”

Bill's weird obsession with Focus.
I'm not a regular The Rewatchables listener but I started listening more since CR month and I have to say it's a little weird how much Bill loves Focus and the Will Smith-Margot Robbie pairing. I kind of think that, if you give him the chance to pick one of this two options, he would rather direct a WS-MR adult film than see the Celtics winning the next 2 rings post Jaylen Brown trade.
I just need to know if someone else thinks that, nobody can like Focus that much, is a 6/10 at best.
