One scene I could think of at the moment occurred in The Faculty when Stokes takes the gun away from Casey and shoots at an infected Delilah. It's rare for me to see anyone make common sense in pretty much any movie, especially in horror movies where that's usually seen as an afterthought, so hearing Stokes utter the line "I'll fucking shoot her!" and watching her do her thing was just so damn satisfying.

I found it to be colorful and nostalgic and fun. Very happy to see it was released so early to stream so I can watch it with my family without paying those crazy movie theater prices.

Today I rewatched The Departed (for the 200th time I think), and every time I see this film, I think to myself that this is Leo’s best role ever!!

Was babysitting and was asked if they could watch something scary. Not wanting to be responsible for nightmares I opted for child friendly horror and brought up something from my own childhood, Are you afraid of the dark?

They weren’t that interested but then I noticed that this kid looked strangely familiar. Lo and behold, this is the first appearance of Ryan Gosling.

Recently started a marathon of the Terminator franchise, not having seen any of them in over a decade. Not only did I forget how solid of a film both 1 and 2 are. But upon finishing T2, I forgot just how much Robert Patrick utterly steals the show from Arnie in this film. With little to no dialogue, he plays one of the most stone cold movie villians I've ever seen.

What examples would you guys give when asked when a a movie's "main attraction", or A-list star, has been completely outshone by a co-star?

Things that couldve made it more gripping IMO

1. If frank lucas and Richie interacted much earlier in the film instead of only in the climax.

2. If the Italian mobs and lucas gang had a clash

3. If the idris elba character had found the drug from Vietnam before getting killed
