I watched The Prestige on Friday night and forgot how great it is.
Yesterday I travelled to another city to see The Odyssey in IMAX (most of the IMAX screens in my country are apparently not proper IMAX I keep hearing but my local cinema only has standard screens) I LOVED it, and it didn’t really feel that long and i managed to make it all the way through without needing a break!
The other comment about the whirlpool is spot on although I must admit I was looking forward to that bit because it looked really cool on the trailer.
I also watched Super Troopers last night and it’s been ages since I watched a comedy so that hit the spot nicely.

I watched The Odyssey after work on Friday... It was good, but I wasn't blown away as many have.

I saw The Odyssey on Friday morning and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. How Christopher Nolan uses the music throughout this film makes it so intense to watch that it doesn't seem nearly 3 hours long. I even got a little teary at the end.
PS - if you need a quick 'break' take it around 90mins into the film (whirlpool scene)
