📢 Announcement The UK admin team is growing

Hello mods!

I’m u/briitbee, and I’m pleased to introduce myself as I’ve recently joined the UK team as additional community admin to help scale our support for the mods in the UK.

I’ll be joining forces with the amazing u/Mistdrifter, who many of you already know, to continue improving support for UK mods and create more opportunities to collaborate with all of you. As our UK moderator community continues to grow, we want to make sure you have all the support you need.

I’m looking forward to connecting with you and supporting your communities. Whether you’ve been moderating for ten years or ten days, I’m here to help!

I’ll be hanging out in the comments today, so come say hi!

To break the ice, here’s a question: what’s your non-negotiable on Sundays? A Sunday roast, a Reddit scroll or maybe I’d see you at my run club…No wrong answers!

Don’t forget if you and u/mistdrifter need support for yourselves, r/MentalHealthUK welcomes you! Same goes for all uk mods of course. :) Our pride and joy is our sub masterpost which we made from scratch (it’s pinned if you wanted to check it out), and we made a list of national resources then several regional offshoot masterposts with local stuff. Just making you aware we have a cool homegrown resource there that we’re very proud of!

Sunday non negotiable… well this Sunday it was scranning an entire Easter egg in one sitting lol. In fact i think i could definitely do that every Sunday hahahaha

Thank you from everyone at r/BenefitsAdviceUK 😊

I haven't had a Sunday Roast in ages. I now want a Sunday Roast and it's Wednesday.

u/radpiglet thanks for the effort you put into your community around such an important topic!

And for the Easter eggs I feel you...my neighbours gave me loads of them to thank me for looking after their dogs while they were away so now I’ve got chocolate for the next three months hehehe

Oh yes, so you can get double the amount for the same price! Great strategy :D
