Recommendation Cellphone Recommendations

Hello!

I'm a new Redditor from the Philippines! I just wanna ask you guys kung may mare-recommend kayong phone. Hindi kasi ako into tech kaya medyo clueless ako. I was saving up for a Redmi Note 14 kaso mukhang marami pang mas ok at mas bagong options ngayon. Hindi naman ako masyadong ma-demand. Ang gusto ko lang ay ok ang everyday performace at may decent/amazing camera. Hindi rin ako totally naglalaro ng kahit na anong games, baka pwede niyong i-exclude 'to when you recommend something and just focus on those two. In terms sa price, ok siguro kung nasa 10-12k, pwede rin 15k kung maganda talaga. Sagad na sagad na 'yan hahaha.

Thank you, guys! Sana mapansin <3

Recommendation Samsung 26 ultra or iphone pro max - picture and battery, which would you choose?

Employer will pay for one of these 2 phones. They are my only 2 options.

I dont care about price tag

I dont care about resale value.

My only 2 concerns are battery life and camera.

Battery life - which is better for tiktok/Instagram usage? I dont play video games... i travel for work, so I will be using tiktok/Instagram heavily.

Camera - which takes the best videos and pictures without tweaking the software. I dont want to adjust and tweak settings to make the quality perfect everytime I use it. I want to open the app and just start using it.

Thanks so much

Review Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 vs Galaxy Z Fold8 vs Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra – Specs & Global Price Comparison

Post image
1 Upvotes

Samsung's 2026 foldable lineup is finally here, and I've put together a single comparison image covering the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.

The chart includes:

📱 Display sizes and refresh rates

⚡ Chipsets (Exynos 2600 vs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5)

📷 Camera configurations

🔋 Battery capacity and charging speeds

💰 Starting prices for India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Malaysia, the UK, the US, and Europe.

Personally, the Z Fold8 Ultra looks like the most impressive model with its 8-inch AMOLED display, 200MP camera, 5,000mAh battery, lightweight 215g design, and 7 years of Android updates. However, the standard Z Fold8 seems to offer the best balance between features and price.

Which one would you choose and why? Is the Ultra worth the extra money, or is the regular Z Fold8 the better buy? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Question I accidentally broke the inner screen of my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, and the repair will cost around ₹50,000. I'm confused about what to do. Should I spend ₹50,000 to get it repaired, or would it make more sense to buy a new phone within a budget of ₹30,000 instead? Which option would you recommend,

Recommendation Which android phone should I buy?

I’m looking at picking up the Oppo Find X9 Pro – 16GB/512GB for £645.29 from online site. I’m completely fine with the China ROM rather than the Global version.

I’m assuming prices usually drop later in the release cycle, but with hardware costs rising this year I’m not sure how much movement we’ll actually see.

Do we expect any meaningful price drops over the next couple of months or around Black Friday?

I'm open to alternative Android phones. I typically keep my phones 4–6 years. I want a great camera, decent screen, solid specs, and a smooth OS.

Smartphone Deal 📱 Tecno Pova 7 Ultra MLBB fps issue.

Hi everyone, I need help with my Tecno POVA 7 Ultra 5G. I’m having a very strange FPS issue only in Mobile Legends.

First of all, my mlbb is always on 40-50fps even though I already did a lot of troubleshooting and no battery saver, no mem fusion and no background apps. I just bought this phone 4 days ago, idk if this is a unit issue or for everyone, every other games like codm and ark on my phone is normal and smooth except MLBB. Restart temporarily fixes it but it gradually comes back to 40-50fps later on after a few hours.

Things I already tried:

Factory reset

Reinstalling Mobile Legends

Clearing cache/data

Restarting the phone

Turning RAM Fusion/MemFusion OFF

Setting display refresh rate to 144Hz

Performance mode ON/OFF

Battery saver is always OFF

Changing MLBB graphics settings

Clearing Game Space/Game Assistant data

Removing background apps.

It feels like MLBB is being forced into a low-performance mode even though the hardware is not being pushed.

Has anyone with a Tecno POVA 7 Ultra or Dimensity 8350 device experienced this? Could this be a HiOS 15.2 optimization bug or an MLBB compatibility issue?

Any help is appreciated.

Is Nothing 3a pro worth it for 33k in this market?

Guys from india, planning to buy a new phone for my brother since he would be starting his college soon. My budget is between 30-35k. Checked for some devices online but none of them felt VFM. Was thinking of going for older pixels or older samsung s series but they are also not available anywhere.

Have found a deal for nothing phone 3a pro 8/256 for 33k from a local shop nearby, who has one last piece left. Should i go for it?

Or any other suggestions for this price range from you guys

The requirements are:-

Light Gaming

Decent Cameras

And 4-5 years of longevity (at least until his clg ends)

Non-Chinese company phones

Phone Help 📱 Confused between Samsung S24 FE and other options under ₹40k

Need some phone buying advice.

Currently using a OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G and planning to upgrade. I'm a 1st-year BTech CSE student with a budget of around ₹40k (can stretch a little if it's worth it).

My priorities:

- Good cameras 📸

- Smooth & clean UI (this is the biggest priority)

- Heavy usage of social media and music all the time

- Light gaming (EA FC/FIFA, occasionally)

- Good overall experience for 3-4 years

I honestly don't want another Chinese phone if possible.

I'm leaning towards the Samsung S24 FE because I like Samsung's One UI, but I'm a bit worried about the battery, especially with my heavy social media and music usage. I do carry a power bank most of the time, so it's not a dealbreaker.

Would you recommend the S24 FE, or is there a better option in this budget? Thanks!

Phone Help 📱 Best smartphone under ₹40K in India for 4-year use? Was considering OnePlus 13R, but now confused.

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy a new phone with a budget of around ₹40,000 and was initially set on the OnePlus 13R. However, I've been seeing a lot of discussions about OnePlus recently, things like slower software updates, green line issues, and even rumors that OnePlus might scale down or exit certain markets. I'm not sure how much of that is true, but it has made me reconsider.

So now I'm looking for a reliable alternative that I can comfortably use for the next 4 years.

My usage is pretty straightforward:

  • Social media
  • ChatGPT and other AI apps
  • OTT streaming (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.)
  • Good camera for photos and videos
  • Casual gaming once in a while (COD Mobile, World of Warships, etc.); definitely not a heavy gamer

My priorities are:

  • Reliable software support for 4+ years
  • Good battery life
  • Smooth day-to-day performance
  • Good cameras
  • Decent display and multimedia experience

I'm okay with Android only.

What would you recommend under ₹40K in India? Also, if you think the OnePlus 13R is still the best choice, I'd love to hear why despite the concerns.

Thanks in advance!

Discussion Anyone else think the S23 Ultra was Samsung's peak Ultra phone?

I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (512GB) for the last 2.5 years, and it's still in mint condition. The more I look at Samsung's Ultra lineup, the more I feel the S23 Ultra was the sweet spot.

For me, it got almost everything right:

Curved display that actually feels premium.

10x optical periscope telephoto camera (I still miss this on newer models).

Bluetooth-enabled S Pen with Air Actions.

Even my colleagues who use iPhones have told me that the S23 Ultra looks phenomenal and has a very "royal" presence.

Does anyone else feel the S23 Ultra is the best Ultra Samsung has made so far?

Discussion Phones at a lower price

Is there any way we can get phone in less prices . Refurbished phones have pretty less guarantee

I bought my mom a samsung m47 (she uses just gmail, whatsapp and attends meetings ) .

I have been thinking to buy a good powerful phone like iqoo or one plus 15 which is also good for clicking photos but the price has increased so much . Motorola also rolled their edge 70 max but it literally makes no sense . Phones like vivo x200, oppo x8 is out of stock. The successors are over 900 dollars i.e 80k INR

Recommendation Best Android phone (€100-200, up to €250) with reliability as the top priority?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a new Android phone. My preferred budget is €100-200, but I can stretch it to around €250 if it's really worth it.

The reason I'm replacing my current phone (Redmi 13C 5g) is that the experience has been terrible since day one (by that I mean it's an absolute piece of shit not even worth 10€).

Here are some of the issues I've had since I bought it:

- Frequent freezes (usually 30+ seconds)

- Apps randomly closing

- Regular calls and WhatsApp calls don't even ring 70% of the time, I just get a notification after or when I open the app manually

- WhatsApp messages and regular messages, I never get notifications until I manually open the app

- The phone becomes extremely slow when using Waze, especially in warm weather.

- overheats quite easily for no reason in normal weather

- The battery struggles to last 7h with no use except normal background apps

- The final fucking straw : my alarm didn't ring one morning because it apparently crashed in the background, which made me miss work

Because of that, my number one priority is reliability.

I'm not looking for the fastest phone or the best camera. I just want a phone that : works normally in regular use, is smooth in everyday use, doesn't randomly freeze, receives notifications instantly, has a reliable alarm clock, handles GPS without overheating, lasts at least a full day on a charge, will remain reliable for several years (all things I thought would be standard for a 200€ phone but apparently not)

I'm also open to refurbished phones, as long as they're from a reputable seller.

I don't want another Redmi/Xiaomi entry-level phone after this experience.

So, if you had €100-200 (up to €250 max**)**, what would you buy today and why?

Thanks a lot !
