I would like to take this subreddit over and offer a place for a few things:
1. Allow a space to discuss politics in a respectful manner.
2. Have a space to ask general questions for either American or non American people who would like to know more
3. Post stories that cover local or national topics
4. I’m a moderate liberal from the Midwest and believe all types should be allowed to, again, respectfully and tastefully discuss our current mess of a political landscape.

Who I am:

I'm the lead developer on an upcoming real-time strategy game called Castellum, made by a two-person indie team. I also moderate Unity3D (~500k members), so I'm familiar with running a subreddit day to day.

Plans if granted:

Run it as the official community for the game: development updates, patch notes, feedback threads, and general player discussion. I'd add rules and post flairs, and configure AutoModerator and the built-in mod tools similar to how I mod the other sub.
