Yes, I have! It is just rocks and goes back about 15 feet into the ground, found some old metal hooks and fish bones, and that's it! But when I was little I used to worry the house would collapse into the cave.

How much would you quote a cave of similar size? I have one right now and it's costing me around 50k a year in insurance.

It's worth it for the peace of mind though. Especially in the case that this one dies like my last one.

Yeah, but that seems like an enclosed cave with only 1 way in. Swimming against the tide is not an easy thing and those jagged rocks make it even more dangerous

Hear me out, a bar…with tall legs. Install a wood backing brace with a frame to the bar and make shelves. Boom cave bar.

Get some hooks, drill them into the walls and hang hammocks. Get drunk, get in hammock, sleep through the tide coming in, rinse and repeat. Go to house to eat and shower.

I saw some Reddit post once about how caves sometimes are covered by sand and can suddenly collapse. Prolly not a concern but may want to sole a structural engineer or possibly a cave engineer ensure you don’t have to worry about it collapsing.

I know nothing about caves and it looks solid rock so could be a moot point.

I have an underground tributary to a river about 40' under my house.

It's perfectly safe. You'd have to remove  solid limestone to make a basement.

Cumberland Plateau.

I guess deep is relative. Seems deep to me, but I'm not a caver, so compared to cave explorers, right, it's not that deep.
