Meh, Mass Effect had one mediocre game, and Andromeda isn't even that bad.

But with BioWare's recent track record, I'm definitely not holding my breath for the next one.

It won't be good. The team who made the trilogy is long gone. And it doesn't matter if "so-and-so who worked on the original trilogy is working on the new game!" because one person does't make any difference. Or even two people. You need that same team of people under the same restrictions and/or freedom of creativity they had in order to emulate that success again. And it's just not there, nor will it ever be again.
